Biggest come back of Habs history. 5-0 deficit but won the game 6-5. Incredible! I dont know, theres something special with the Habs this season. This could be the year!
I was at the Leafs game last night, and was watching the comeback on the scoreboard.....unbelievable. I'll admit that the Habs have a strong team this year.
Not if the Ducks have anything to say about it!!!! The Habs come to town in about 3 weeks. (anahiem). I hate the NHL travel schedule.... it's great if I want to see the Coyotes 6 times a year. Luckily we get both the Leafs and Habs this year. The Hockey world is back to normal here now that Neids and Selanne are back. I'm originally from Montreal but been here since I was a kid. I'll wear my Habs hat to the game but it's Ducks all the way baby!!!!
Bigger, yes....but BETTER??? I watched the game with my son (Habs fan) in Mississauga. At on point I thought that Price (Habs goalie) had fallen asleep.... Wait till the end of the season to see who finishes "on top"....
Were you watching the same game? price was way busier than toskola. Leafs outshot the habs by a big margin. Leafs are rebuilding, so you better finsh near the top, as the habs are expected to. We dont even care this year, we want a shot at tavares.
Forget about Tavares. The Leafs have never made a major draft pick in 10 years. Tavares will end up at NY Islanders, or Dallas Stars.
Look's like we arnt bad enough yet, for sure he will end up in a crap market like atlanta etc. But i think the leafs will drop off, i can see them trading poni, antropov etc later in the year.
I highly doubt that the Leafs will trade either Antropov or Ponikarovski. These are 2 guys who are both young and can get points and provide leadership on a team which has about 9 third line players. They are a team built around defence and they are young, with a lot of energy so they probably won't drop off. I see them finishing over .500 unless they run into injury problems.
I spotted Kaberle at my office just last week. Sorry, I have nothing else to add so I though i'd post a "spot"
Alex Connell? I'm talking about a more modern record, ie from the 1950's - 2000's. Alex Connel played for the Senators back in the 1920's, when they played 12 games a year, and the sticks were so straight they couldn't lift the puck off the ice! I think they played NHL games on Lake Ontario before the Gardens back then....LOL
It was 44 games not 12. 1927-28. Modern era is defined by the introduction of the red line in 43-44. Record is held by Brian Boucher of coyotes. In 2004 he had 5 or 332 mins and 1 second. Before him it was Bill Durnan 4 in 48-49.
Yes they did.......Vesa Toskala lost the game for the Leafs. 4 Goals on 10 shots, he was asleep in the net.
The second I watched the interview when Anaheim was in Toronto and they asked Burke "are you going to come to work in Toronto" and he said "I have no comment on that" I knew that Burke was going to Toronto.
