    Well, as you may know, we've been looking for a Ferrari for the past few months. First we were interested in an F355 but decided the 360 would be a better choice. We pulled the trigger a few weeks ago and the car came last week. Its an 01 360 Modena red/tan, red calipers, challenge grill, daytonas with red piping, and Tubi. The car is a BLAST! Its incredibly fast and sounds amazing.

    As you can see, there was also a 430 on the truck. It looked pretty good

    Congratulations, however, I must express my opinion on your choise of gearbox. You have made a foolish decision and will pay for it for as long as you own your car. Sorry if that sounds a little harsh, but I firmly believe, and always have, that a ferrari which is intended for use on the road should always be a manual. F-1 style Transmisions are good of race cars and super-high performance ferraris such as the Enzo, simply because they shift quicker then a human operating a manual ever can. However, a car that is intended for use on the road doesn't need these millisecond advantages. For road cars, it is more important that they are fun to drive, involving, and communicative, all of which can be experienced far better in a manual. But aside from that, great car. I like that seats, those kind seem much more habitable then sports seats, piping and aluminum trim are gorgeous details.

    By the way, new user here, just crossed over from ferrari-talk a few days ago, really enjoying this site.

    Cezary, I respect your opinion, but I think the F1 is the superior choice for us. I dont think I need to explain why because its already been done many times. A bunch of people have gone from 6 speed to F1 and never looked back. The F1 is much easier to use, faster and just plain cool. Its just a little too much work for some people also with a stiff clutch and all. With the F1 you can focus more on driving rather than shifting

    Tell that to Ferrari. It is estimated that over 80% of all new F430s will have the F1 Transmission.

    It's amazing to me how someone can be so stupid and make a post like this. The guy just bought a new car - an amazing one at that. He clearly bought what he wanted.
