Other than the interior mods, what is the problem with the car? After seeing the pic, I've decided to go ahead with the BBS LM's I was looking at and having the centres painted black.

EDIT: Just had a closer look at the interior mods, what were they thinking??????

 

Just wish the seller would get the specs right....shows "Automatic" as the transmission, while it's clearly a 6 speed...at least they got the colour right

Well, compared to the ostrich in Will H's 512TR, the darker color is downright tasteful.

I just can't get used to these oversize wagon wheels with virtually no tire sidewall -- just makes the rear brakes look mis-sized.

 

What's the story behind this car? I'm thinking about getting a 550 myself but really not educated on them. I like the style and have read some good remarks on them but, need more information. Can you enlighten me?

 

I actually think the car isnt bad...the only thing i HATE about it is the postion of the Air Conditioning controls! That is so F'n ghetto!!

20 feet wheels...?!? Wow...! It comes with a stereo...?!? Holy crap, it's a modern-day one-off...! Exhaust and brakes...?!? Wow, what kind of futuristic super car IS this...?

 

Yeah i wonder if it comes with one of those things called a "Steering Wheel"....

I dunno. I find the car to be quite decent. Outside looks great. Interior is Hundai ricer quality, but can be quickly overcome. I like it.

 

really, the dark ostrich seats on the 550 don't look *too* bad, but they went and totally screwed it up when they took it to the next level by trying to cover areas with complex curves, like the door handles, etc.

LOL, my 512M wont have a bird interior for too long, This Ostrich will be flying away ASAP

 

And just think, someone spend thousands on all those mods that only reduce the value of the vehicle. Some people truly have more money than brains.

 

That car is completely perfect, sans the interior.

I personally think the car looks real good. Minus the wheels. I think it has more to do with who ever put up the auction is a freaking retard with poor english. And that is why you guys are bashing the car.

What, are they kidding? When I saw that, I expected to see a 350 Chevy under the hood. At least they provided a photo of the engine, which looks real enough.

I hate the wheels, though. They may be right for some cars, but they just look wrong for this one.

How much would it cost to change out the ostrich to leather? $5000? Seems like a cheap entry to 550 ownership.

As others said, the only part that looks awful is the ostrich covering complex curves, such as the door handles.
