I took my son last year, esp. just b/c McLaren was an entry with Alonzo. We arrived the day before, but couldn't find any McLaren events that late. Had great seats, though, and my son loved it. We were disappointed with the engine failure, but still had a great time.
Mark, we go for the day and do a cannon ball run home. Just in time for dinner on Monday. Gary Bartlett is in with his 2005 Ford GT, Looks like speedracer is in with his New 720s coming up from Texas. We meet in the infield hang around then go.....Fun times. If more people are going we will meet 7 am at the marriot for the complete escort! So two 720s and a Old Ford gt....its only been posted 10 minutes

I actually bought my 12C in Fort Wayne, Indiana, then trailered it all the way home to Louisiana. Wish I had time to drive it back to the Indy 500, but man that was a long 20 hr. drive!!!
