Penetrating oil by the gallon. Let it soak overnite. Repeat...
Just picked this up, pulled some downed trees and mountain laurel out of my front yard to test it out. My 4th jeep, I've had a cj5, cj7 and tj over the years. Tj was my favorite so far. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I rented a trailer and towed it behind my Yukon on a Flatbed. Drive was ~ 22 hours. The Yukon worked but I would buy a diesel if I did it a lot. MDS
Nice Jeeps everyone! My wife and I just picked up a 2010 Sahara to use as a towed behind our RV. Mike Image Unavailable, Please Login
Haven't fixed the header on my Scrambler yet but it was so nice out this morning I took it for a spin around the block. Stopped to get a pic and got photo bombed Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've been driving Jeeps exclusively since 1986. All I need is a good dependable vehicle so I can drive around taking pictures of everyone else's nice cars. Started with a 1986 2 Dr 4 cyl Cherokee that couldn't even pass a car on a two lane highway. Then got a 1989 Cherokee, put a 1/4 million miles on it before getting a black 1999 which I've had up until a few weeks ago. I put a 1/4 million miles on it as well. It didn't last as well cosmetically as my 1989. I've never had a garage to keep them in. I've been driving the 1999 that has served me well over the years and wasn't in a position to get another. Besides looking like total crap the AC went out several years ago which stinks in FL. I guess I just got used to it. The Radio went out a few years ago. Then a lot of different elements came into alignment and I found myself able to get a 2014 Grand Cherokee. My oh my what a difference 15 years makes in Jeep design and I'm having a blast checking out all the features that I've been missing over the years. The real value is the freedom it will give me to do the things I thought would slip away. I know I'm posting in the land of multi million dollar car collections but today I bet I'm just as happy Here's a couple pics of the 1999 that I traded in, my new ride and one with my 1981 CJ-8 Scrambler that I've had since 1993 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is a pic of my new toy: 2013 JKU RHD. 35" tires, 3" lift. Tera30 front axle. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My wife and I were walking past a very accessorized Wrangler recently and she said "what is that?" while pointing at the hoopty thing mounted on the front bumper. While I had a guess in mind I told her that I didn't know. Turns out, it's was a Stinger bumper. Useful in the rock mountains out west but hardly so here in FL (but hey, another cool custom Jeep ) The latest trend?
Must be the latest trend as a lot of people had them at the recent Jeep Beach event at Daytona. 2015 Daytona Jeep Beach Image Unavailable, Please Login
