Getting the annual service done, no call from the service department last week so thought I was ok but.... no. Went in today to pick up and oh yes, need the lower ball joints done, plus the tie rods and the transmission/gearbox mount(ouch on that one). Knew the lower balls needed being done as could feel it on the road on rough surfaces and was going to do it anyway. Tie rods a little surprising, transmission mount not surprising, just one of those things that can happen.

Car done 42t miles( I have done 18T of those). Surprisingly the prices quoted were good. Around $3000 plus tax includes all filters eg air, pollen etc, OEM tie rods, ball joints(yes not hills but oh well), all fluids except F1(done last year) and LABOUR!! I think ok.

Soon have to do rotors, pads, and tires. Already have those puppies in storage ready to go! Just going to get the car going then go to a track and burn the what is left of the tires out. Clutch is good done 30T km(all my driving) and showing 70% left, so smooth on the clutch you all say!! That is with a few burnouts.

That's not too bad for that they're doing.
It will be my turn next month. When I bought the car they told me that one ball joint was "sloppy" but OK.
    You do burn outs?

When my back tyres are due for changing I will do burn outs too.
My only gripe was the 100%+ markup on fluids that I can get from a local auto supply store. Might supply my own next time.
Those are expensive rods, joints and mount.
My annual without those was 1000 incl tax.
