Anyone know the Vin of the last 348 Spyder to come into the US?
That's a question for NNO! 99947 was the last 348 (and it was a Spider, but I don't know if that was sent to the U.S. or not, per your question).
I, unfortunately, can't answer any of these questions... We don't have any information on 99947 and weren't even aware it was a 348 Spider. The highest serial number we have for a US model 348 Spider is 99750... The highest serial number we have for a 348 period is 99846, a 1994 European model, yellow with black interior and 355 wheels, seen in Germany five years ago... We're happy to at least now know what 99947 is; thank you...
After seeing what you've said, NNO, I now wonder if my information wasn't a typo...with 99847 being the last 348 instead 99947. That would be only 1 # different from the highest # that you had.
My records show a 98583 listed as a 94', and that's the latest 94' I have seen yet. Stephane Scaledetails
Does anyone have the list of the 348 SS production ranking according to their VIN number? I'm curious to know what production ranking a certain one is. Thanks. Dean
That's overall (i.e. for 1995). In contrast, I'm not sure that we know if the last 94 was a Spider or GTB/GTS/Competizione. But for 95 we know.
That's a tough question. There were 3 groups of SS authorized, but not all of them are certain to have actually been produced (some claim as few as 80 were built, but at least 115 were authorized). I show authorized VIN ranges 92812-95820 (obviously not all will be used) for the Series Speciale from one source.
tell me about it! I haven't forgotten. Still waiting on the guy to set up the code for me, he's been on vacation. I'll ping him today about it. General site design is live at ferrari348registry.com
