Both freshly painted they would look great side-by side in the august 2016 Italian sun Alberto ! Their interiors however differ somewhat more.. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh, that scrap starts looking like a Ferrari, finally! But it will have to face two big competitors... ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login
Alberto, thanks for the picture of the interior light switch. It would have surprised me a lot, if you would have found exactly the same ones like the originals. Now they had to drill the panels, but at least these switches are the better solution -technically spoken, not regarding originality- since there's more safe electrical ground, than on the originals, which just snap in and once again work not reliable on my car. I like your car a lot, though I have to admit, the auxiliary driving lights not so much. Wouldn't they be better looking behind the grille? Best Regards Martin
The car came out of the factory with passing lights installed exactly in that place, so they will stay there as they were 35years ago Ciao
Yes, I know. You mentioned it earlier in this thread. But do YOU like it? I would love to have a pair of yellow ones behind the grille, since this was, like my car was delivered once in France. Do you know where to obtain a pair of yellow Carellos? Best Regards Martin
Yes, I like them very much. Everyone has his own taste! Maybe I have a pair of yellow ones, I don't remember if they have the lens you like. They aren't Carello, they are Cibie Ciao
Behind the grille ? IMO that was only for the QV from 84 on ? At that time they have been Carellos. The passing lights (NO fog lights !) at Alberto's dry sump are original not behind the grill - as on my 83 turbo. And the are Cibiè for sure. Martin, Du könntest im Tausch gegen ein paar Weiße meine gelben Cibiè-Gläser haben. Image Unavailable, Please Login
here you are the correct passing lights, in the correct white: they are the ones then Installed on my car ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm still waiting for more detailed pictures but someone got carried away by his newer projects it seems
thank you both. At the mid/end of May I will do a new photo session with the "last but one dry sump" blu sera 308 GTB: I will post it here. At present I'm in a turbo full immersion... ciao
incredible but true, today I found this in the bottom of car's glove box: never saw it before! now the car is complete. ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is called "disco orario": It indicates the time your parked the car in the time limited parking zone. Ciao Edit: Crepaldi was the first Ferrari dealership in the world, since 1953. My drysump was sold by that dealership, in Milan, Italy.
That's an interesting find and sure part of the history of your car with something from the original dealer!
Thank you very much, Markus. Today the Classiche Certificate arrived too: It's clean, no red notes or so. A ton of money, but a good result, imho. Now I just need to take a picture with the early Schedoni set in the trunk and then the work is completed. Do you want to know the fun thing? the engine was restored in december 2014, since then just the car under restore so I did just 150 km (from and to the mechanic shop an body shop...) but it's time to do another oil change (one year and half since the last one...) so the car now is at the mechanic shop to change a 150 km old oil... ciao
Hi Alberto , probably i am wrong , but i would not change oil after only 150 km and after one year and half, obviously IMO. Ciao Antonino
