Pure fantasy on your part, in an attempt to undermine Hamilton's succes at Mercedes.

Alonso wasn't even courted by Mercedes. Lauda and everybody knew by then the shenanigans with Alonso, and his detrimental effect on a team.

You can speculate as much as you want to suit your aganda, the reality says otherwise.

Do you actually read your own post before sending them? Every second sentence is how I "undermine" and "dismiss" the "achievements" of Lewis just because I do not see any proof for anything you say, as this is only an opinion and nothing more...
At the same time you leave absolutely no opportunity to "dismiss" and "undermine" the achievements of "my hero" (complete nonsens by the way) Alonso, be it here or in any other post. Do you really think that Ron was neutral in all that??? On one side his pet and on the other side the one that finally cost him 100 million and said he will leave? What about the disaster 2007 at McLaren was "good for the sport"??? Because it encouraged your favorite driver???

Furthermore you accuse people that they use "personal things" to undermine the achievement of Lewis on track but when your "like-buddies" ktu and atbnmwhatever spill their "opinions" about Schumacher or Senna a simple "I did not like them anyway" from your side seems to be enough... Where is your "knighthood" to defend their achievements if I may ask? Or we do not even have to go that far back, what about Vettel? What was said about Lewis scoring himself sponsors making it into a winning car can be easily said in the same way about Vettel as I doubt he won his RB seat in the lottery but I do not see you defending this when everything he "achieved" is only "down to the car"...
But as soon as someone says anything against Lewis it is like he is shouting Jehovah...

Do you really think only Hamilton could have scored these WDC at Mercedes??? Even Rosberg could and you really rate Rosberg more as a driver than Alonso (apart from you personal hate)? Now that is what I call ilusory....And how would YOU possibly know that Alonso (apart from the fact that he was not available) was never considered by Mercedes???

Unlike you, I don't deal in speculations. "Could have", "would have" or "should have" don't even enter my mind.
The fact is that Hamilton was chosen and made a good job of it!!
There were probably good reasons for that.
He is on his way to his 4th title with Mercedes: eat your heart out !!!!
Don't try to dismiss that by speculations.
BTW, it's Lauda who said in the past that Alonso was never on Mercedes shopping list: I didn't make it up.

What was good for F1 in 2007 was that 2 title contenders from the same team were allowed to fight it out without precedence.

It's what the public wants ; there is always an outcry when team orders come to force. Maybe you didn't read the reactions after Sochi?

Frank Williams did the same with Mansell and Piquet. The public enjoyed it.

And again "dismiss"... the fact that Rosberg was able to do the job as well is no speculation, it is a fact. Only you try to make it sound that it is all down to him rather to anything else. And "there was probably a good reason for that" sounds like a joke when you say you do not give anything about speculation...
And why would I eat my heart out no matter how many WDC he "achieves" in his life???
And if you think there was no precedence at all you are naive at best...

Can someone tell me why Ron Dennis would spend big money and work to get a current 2 time champion, and then try to make him lose? I mean if you gonna make up stuff at least make sense

If any body can win in the Mercedes, why is Bottas not champion?

I admit its only entertainment for Ham fans now, as Ham continues to dominate we get a kick out of what people say to try and diminish his accomplishments lol

To stroke his ego as he is the one bringing Lewis into F1? We are still talking about Ron at the end...And because it is a British driver in a British team that is also influenced by the British press...
So the No.2 driver Bottas is your measurement now... you came a long way down if you think beating Bottas makes you a great driver..

I rooted for Nico and I was glad that he took the title after a hard and long fight. I really like the guy, but judged him slightly below Hamilton in terms of racecraft.

Yes, there were probably good reasons why the Mercedes management decided to go for Hamilton.

He was already established as a top driver, having won one title already with a good track record in terms of speed, motivation, experience, marketing, etc ...

Mercedes had been able to Watch him for a few years (they were supplying engines to McLaren remember) and knew he could lead a team.

I think those were the reasons.

I quoted Williams as a precedent. Don't you read my posts?

Singhof, try to chill out like the Moderator told you.

As soon as you try to accept other people´s opinion as the Moderator told you....but all you do is belittle like yours is beyond any doubt. I am actually wondering why we are discussing anyway as you explained in length during your rant during Le Mans how you put me on ignore

You are the one who brings nationality into it.

Hamilton detractors never stop to blame the British media for their support.

The same journalists used to sing praise for the Kaiser Schumacher at the time, but you say nothing about that !

We Brits just like a winner !!

But why does that mean it irritates me?
1.) Do you really think that the rainbow press in the UK is of any quality... the same one that likes to show Germans/Brits in steel helmets and tanks when they used to play football against each other? And for some reasons the press barely speaks about the Mercedes he is sitting in, only about the driver...For a team sport this is very much a fail. Or like last week when basically the same people demonizing Ferrari for years about team orders now all of the sudden defend the one at Mercedes -> epic fail
2.) I did not like the press here either when Schumacher could do nothing wrong. And believe it or not, although I liked him I found a lot of the Schumacher fans just as annoying as those of Lewis and Max...

Good god, holding the British press up as Zion’s of good is like saying all catholic priests make good babysitters!. Jesus Christ, an industry found guilty in court of spying on celebrities, writing blatant lies about people, trying to get celebrities out in prison based on their lies.......... mmmmmm, the Brit press are awesome

I know exactly why Ron Dennis hated alonso, and it’s far simpler IF I was allowed to break confidence and state it here. Let’s just say if you were Ron, and I was Alonso, you’d be calling for my head too

BTW, I know you won’t believe it, because there is no way I’m going to break confidence, but I’m betting one day it will come out and you will say ‘****, Sid was right!’, guaranteed. I’m hoping alonso writes a full disclosure book, some people in f1 will be paying him big money not too I’m guessing

Truth is, England, Britain, never win a damn thing, so they have jumped on the opportunity at last to wax lyrical about Elton as frankly, there’s nothing else in sport they win at. Football teams a joke, they taught the world cricket and get a hiding every time they play, they lose at rugby every year, and they stretch to a Scotsman in tennis and it’s radio silence when he loses. They are so biased they make me look like an all inclusive philanthropist!

    :) :)

Man alive. Now that the championship is effectively over, it's like the rutting stags have nothing better to do than fawn over Ham... Shouldn't we spend more time debating how to improve Ferrari performance rather than this?

Imagine the cataclysmic meltdown on here should he get a knighthood...

Because he is compliant to the benefit of Lewis.
