Interesting article,especially the comments on how Lewis has upped his game this year,also saying that no one should need a driver coach,and that he never visualizes a lap before qualy etc etc... What happens if he goes on to hit 100 poles and maybe a couple more WDC?

Not that it contains any life changing news either but it says something about Lewis: When things are not working his way he acts like a stubborn person...
This is this "the team is against me" when the team mate is in front as we seen to perfection last season...

Lets face it, of the current the field is there a driver that has got all the desirable elements, qualities, and characteristics to be considered perfect. Personally I think not.

So this thread only goes to prove one thing in my mind, folk love to hate a winner and they especially love to hate a winner when he's not humble and self deprecating.

Plenty of people run down Michael, and we have discussions about it. I don't like it, but that what a forum is about, differing views

I don't particularly care for lil Maxine, nor grosjean, nor some others.

The issue is normally that eltons fans are so aggressive about things, and seem to go postal when we don't agree with them (certain people on here, not the calmer people like yourself of course). They tend to get personal about things to make their point, and so they tend to illicit responses that are similar

You simplify that and turn the actual chronology around...It is not that people started to dislike him when he started to win...people started to dislike when his fanboys joined after him winning at Mercedes to tell us how great he is...
And people dislike the double standards his fans seem to have: it is OK to call Seb and Nico names but as soon as someones dares to call Lewis "Elton" this forum is such a bad place and others are called haters. And many of these people even joined just when he was already at Mercedes, few (like you) are actually around kong enough to tell that they suported him from the beginning which is completely OK as everybody of us has drivers he likes more and others less. It would be a shame if we all support the same guy but obviously it is some sort of lese majesty for group44 if some does not support Lewis...They have to be converted with "facts" as they obvisously do not see the obvious

 

A likeable chap for sure and a good racer..but as for perfect I'am not so sure even he would agree with that.

IMO if drivers are afraid to make mistakes, they are probably not going to achieve much success.

 

Elton John fans ? ..what on earth has he got to do with it ?, apart from having a vulgar amount of cash in the bank, that's the only thing in common similar to Lewis Hamilton....jealously eh ..nasty thing that.

Yes I agree to an extent, I think it ended up with tit for tat with the opposing fan base, folk not really truly believing in their own words, but posting derogatory comments anyway for inflammatory purposes, all the drivers should be at the top of there game, so it should be hard to pick any serious faults with any of them.

Personally I also think it is puerile, akin to school ground/kindergarten name calling, using silly names for drivers, again done for inflammatory reasons.

Yes I was very impressed with Hamilton the day he started out in F1, I had read on here, prior to him driving in F1 that he was one to watch from a poster named Carol, she was spot on

 

Not really I can't find the relevance, apart from them both having copious amounts of cash.
