That Mercedes is such an awesome car, even in the hands of total dipsticks it's a winner, well, mostly, unless they are too busy whining. Best championship year for them has to be 2016 though, that year a classy champion won through. The other years, a whiny pathetic average driver brought the car home ahead of contracted number two drivers (beaten by the number two driver in 2016, hehehe, what a tool). Nope....sorry...I've never been banned here...my membership goes back to 2010. Why would I be banned? I'm a Ferrari fan...and a Hamilton fan. I just have zero affection for the trashier wing of the Tifosi, or the Hamilton-Haters. There are plenty of classy and solicitous Ferrari fans (here and elsewhere.) Ferrari constructed a strong car, and Vettel drove well for the most part - it was just not enough to beat Mercedes and Hamilton. Simple as. They deserved credit for putting up a good fight. Those Ferrari 'fans' who write constant streams of filth against Hamilton - well, they deserve to have his Championship shoved in their faces, and I'm happy to oblige.

Schumacher won the title 7 times, against stronger opposition, with teams being able to develop their cars between races, with the rules being changed to try to slow him down. That's a real champion. A pillock that drives the most dominant car in history with a number two only there to support him, with the whole team biased towards only him, driving that car to the wins it would get whoever was the favoured of the two drivers, that doesn't take anything at all. At the end of the day, points make prizes, and the ones that collect the most are the winners, whether those that are in denial like it or not. Its not a popularity contest, its a battle to the finish by gladiators. Well done Lewis, even now beaten Jackie Stewart as the most successful British driver ever.
No one's denying his achievement of winning 4 WDCs, 3 thanks to the most dominant car of all time and, this year, against a team mate who was no competition. BUT....he had to steer the thing, and he did that very well.
