    Whatever happened to making "The Limit" movie starring Tobey Maguire as Phil Hill?

    Hope its not a dead project :-(

    Just don't expect it to be anything like an accurate biography/history.......The book is more or less "reimagined" history, so I would expect a film or series based on the book would probably lean even more in that direction.

    Hill and Trips both deserve better, but it's difficult to sell a documentary to today's entertainment sponges.

    I hear you. Maybe since Patrick Dempsey is a race car driver and respects the history, hopefully he'll do it some justice.

    I also wish there was some documentary on Phil Hill already! Dont understand why so many other drivers have one and possibly the greatest American driver doesnt!

    Yeah, I've been saying that for years. And unlike most professional drivers, his life outside of racing was very rich and full, and his post-racing years were very interesting as well.

    I was so disappointed when I read "The Limit." It read like it was written with a screenplay in mind.
