it was truly amazing!
Late enough that the blue Camaro was gone. But on the plus side less people in my pictures I got there around 2:20
Great shots Webby. I didn't have very good luck with my camera. I should have brought my wife, she's the photographer in the family. Thanks again Isaac. Great collection of cars. The F-40 is my favorite, but there were quite a few that I would claim as 2nd best. Since I used to have a Cobra, that ranks up there as well. Who's 355 was that parked outside? I like the wheels on it. Stackhouse, sorry I didn't get to meet you. I didn't see the hat floating around. You might have arrived after I left, which was around 11. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Can't believe I missed another opportunity to go see his collection.... One of these days I'll get there. Thanks for the heads up on this trip Isaac....
Wow! Is he frequent on here? Extremely impressive Im really bummed I missed out, didnt know who exactly was allowed to attend. Any idea when the next one will be? Thanks! Chris
Isaac, THANK YOU for everything looking forward to visiting again very soon! +1 Billion Great Group, Good times Bro! I was running a bit late, arrived around 10:30 ish. We will have to meet up on the next visit! Cheers All, thanks for the hospitality!
First, I'm concerned about some of the comments posted on other websites, and youtube video channels.... people who were there, please be VERY respectful of the owners privacy. This is NOT a free for all. Seeing some of the comments make me regret some invites. Second, I'm quite happy that everybody who attended was very respectful of the cars. Thank you for that.
Sorry Isaac, I was going to keep an eye on comments on my video, but as Veedub suggested to me through PM, better just to disable comments entirely, which I've done. Thanks again for inviting me, and thanks to the Sultan for sharing his passion with us!
I too noticed those comments when I saw the video on youtube. Being an active FOC-MI member, who have been at that place twice, did not appreciate some of those comment left by some ignorant viewers. I'm very glad comments are now disabled. THANKS! Hoping for another get-together from the FOC-MI region?!?!?!
The owner is great to open his garage to the public. Wish I was closer... Is there a list of all the cars he owns?
Isaac, It might seem that it's a private event to some degree, but when it's opened up to car clubs it becomes somewhat public, SoM, Doug and yourself don't know everyone that walks threw that door. You would hope respect is the first thing that is on everyones mind, but like you I've attend many events and not all think that way. If SoM felt the collection was in anyway in jeopardy I'm sure he would change things to be handled differently. Graham
You are right Graham. However, I don't want to be responsible for putting anything in jeopardy. At the same time, this event did not have people taking it upon themselves to climb into all of the cars. As SoM has said in the past... the collection is just too much fun to keep to yourself.
Isaac, SoM is always a generous man as far the collection goes, he wants to share it. He has said to me every time that I've come to an event to bring anyone I would like, but I find it easier to just bring myself and my son and not have to explain what, why and when to anyone so I respect his privacy by doing that. And I don't believe for one minute you would do anything to change his trust in you. Graham
Isaac, That is the very reason why I told you any pictures I took would not be shared. I wanted to protect the owners privacy. The only photo I posted was of the guests car outside (Nat's car). I hope you find out who it was that posted so that you can give them a NFE. If you have heard of Pat Rogers, writer of many articles in SWAT magazine and Training company owner, you know what NFE means. For the novices, NOT F#*KING EVER.
The xceed crowed are too wily to even think of doing "much" with them. There are some guys on the site that I have met outside of it that are stand-up individuals. ---- I ~think~ this has been dealt with now. Time to move on.
