Well, I'm coming from an administrative standpoint, but you can offer your perspective...

Do you notice FerrariChat.com doesn't have serious outages anymore?

Do you notice we don't have the major performance problems of years past, even though we have 10-20 times the traffic.

Do you notice the threads read old to newest by default? Oldtimers will understand this. ;)

Have you noticed Nick's Forza Ferrari has been a sponsor almost as long as FerrariChat.com has existed?

    Others?

Probably not a biggie in the scheme of things but I like the color options (grey w/red or yellow and red/yellow).

Any idea why that Meridian link in the sponsors section does not work? I got that pop up ad once and clicked it to no result, so I went to sponsors and clicked the their link there and again no result. Is the link wrong? They advertise in Forza so I assume they are still in business.

    Speaking of Nick's Forza Ferrari...
Just thought I'd mention that Nick is a real stand up guy.
I appreciate the way he stands behind his products and services.

    Thanks for sponsoring F-Chat!

    I enjoy this feature too.
I keep mine red and yellow to give the site a more Ferrari feel.

I sure do. I did a search of the old site and MAN was that annoying. This place sure has changed. Remeber when some people even complained about the new format?

I'm no old timer as I've only been here just nearly a year and I must say that the current format is very easy to read, reply and search.

I noticed Rob's Avatar was changed recently.
Also, I never really saw any problems with it since I have only been on since around March.

I actually like the feature that converts every user avatar to a picture of a different naked hottie each time you log on. Thanks, Rob!

Its on their side, the link has been the same. If they changed it, then they need to notify me and I'll update on my side.

I notice that this is about as nice a web site as you'll find anywhere on the 'net, in every aspect. It must take a lot of time and effort to keep things running so smooth and I appreciate those who make it happen here.

I've noticed a lot less silly flame wars. I used to make fun of *some* of the egos in one of my other groups, but I've seen a lot more respect between members here lately and that's a wonderful thing!

Yes, between 8-11am your time we run our offsite backups that take about 90 minutes. I'm sure the site is barely usable at that time. That time period is the least active of the entire week.

    Sorry for the UK/Europe users,
    rob

    Agreed, steller production values here.

Another little thing that's huge for me:
Hovering over a thread title with the mouse will show a "tooltip" containing the first few lines of the post. Very useful when people use stupid thread titles like "I have a question!" and it turns out to be a repost of the Hello Kitty TR. Tooltip contains "hello Kitty" and I know that that one's a "skipper"! :)

Speaking as a System Administrator for my company's websites, you get more appreciation for fixing things when they go wrong, than you ever do for ensuring they don't go wrong in the first place!

It's easy for the end user to not realise the work that goes into ensuring normal service is kept going.

So thanks for your efforts in making F-chat more reliable.

    Dan
