Wow beautiful collection and display. That Maybach Excelero is one of my favorite 2000s concepts. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I visited the collection last weekend. Highly recommended! Does anyone know if the F1 Ferrari on the wall is a real car? If so, which chassis number? By the way even though the collection of cars displayed right now is already large, if Mr Loh owns much more I assume he will rotate the cars in the museum from time to time. Also, I'm hoping for a book about this collection. There wasn't one in the museum shop. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Been therr today and can only agree that this is really spectacular. Not only because of the Ferraris, but so many milestones of automotive history. I loved especially seeing all my childhood heroes - from the BB to the 288 GT0 and the DTM cars. But of course the P4 is THE highlight. Only a pity that the 250 was a but tucked away in a corner - IMO it would have deserved a place of honor as well... Sorry for getting this wrong... Nevertheless an extremely impressive experience to see one of those legends right in front of me and imagine gow it should have been to race them for 24 hours.
275/330P 0820 along with many other special race cars and F1 cars are tucked away in a back room as well. Most likely for future exhibits.
It reminds me in June I was at Charles Pozzi for the live screening of the 24h of Le Mans and JC Andruet was here, he told us about his experience of driving at night in the rain with the BB LM, legendary!
Definitely worth the detour even if it is a little bit in the middle of nowhere ( although in all fairness not so distant from main motorways!). While the whole museum is very nice because it’s all brand new, decorated with a lot of attention to details including the restaurant, and the cars pristine, there are in the collection itself a lot of cars which are rare and superb but somehow part of the 100 cars we always dreamed of . Think of the BMW 507, Alloy Gullwing, Miura SV, B24 spyder America, and few Bugattis . Best of the road cars, including Ferrari 288, Boxer, Daytona. What is my view and of course based on my taste is extra ordinary was the special exhibition for Le Mans with cars that took part in the race. With Ferraris, including the Thomson Daytona and the 250S. Of course they are missing a lot of others which are already in other collections. Think 375, TR, 250LM, BBLM,,on the other hand the non Ferrari cars with Le Mans history are amazing. From Bentley, to Bugatti, Aston Martin, Porsches, and of course the Audi Le Mans winner. If it were just for those dozen cars it would be worth going to see the museum. And of course the few Ferrari formula 1 cars , from different eras. With a special mention for the 1500 ex Surtees formula one. The car is so small, you wonder how it feels at top speed. I met him - little John- he was tiny tiny, even compared to me,,,but to fit in this car and feel comfortable,,is amazing. And the exhaust is a piece of art in itself. This decent video by Novitec confirms that the two F1 cars hanging on the wall are dummies/show cars. It also confirms that the main collection will have rotations from time to time (besides the special exhibitions). And it mentions a total of about 300 cars in the collections, with 50% on display.

I don’t have an answer but thanks for the pic. I was fortunate enough to get a guided tour of the warehouse at Tillack’s back in the 90’s by no less than ST himself. I loved seeing that green dino painted on a Vignale body, along with some other cars from LZ’s collection- although regrettably not 0228AT on the day of my visit.
I have a friend who has been through all of the collections rooms pre opening but I believe is NDAd to keep his storage photos to himself. Suffice to say that after the Le Mans centenary exhibit is done, much more will be cycled through over the next few years. Loh is the only collector to have both a Auto-Union and Mercedes-Benz Silver Arrow since Neil Corner found them in the 1970s!
