Basically I took the Gallardo and gave it a little Miura taste to it. I should have the front done tonight and side view by the end of the week. What you guys think?

Nice photoshop. If the sky wasn't cloned so noticeable, you might have gotten away with this one. =)

See this is one thing I don't understand about Lamborghini.

why make the G nearly as fast as the Murci LP640?

It only hurts the Murci sales, when people think logically about $$$ vs. Power.

The should concentrate on making the LP640 lighter and faster.

Ferrari's generally speaking, both new and used, are still flying off dealership lots and commanding preminum prices.

However, the LP640, sell at sticker, or just below for new ones.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Thanks,
    UZY

And the Scuderia is nearly as quick as the 599 - so there goes your argument. The Gallardo hasn't moved forward in performance as much as the LP640 did over the old Murci so it is due for a lift.

Any difference in sales performance between F and L isn't down to engine performance.

    Simple.

    1. The car was due a mid life refresh and they've given it a 30bhp power hike which isn't huge. The change over from model year 05 to 06 saw an increase of 20bhp for example. They are also taking the opportunity to adopt new tech from Audi to improve the chassis and take the fight right back to Ferrari.
    2. The Murcielago Super Veloce is due to be unveiled this October as the swansong for this model so the power balance will once again be tipped in it's favour.

So then, what car is going to replace the Murci?

I would like an LP840-5 with 5 standing for the rocket on the back.

There is only one word for this. DUMB.

Look at production numbers. There are a lot fewer ferraris made in a year than lamborghini, need I explain supply/demand? Also, prices on the 430 are dropping like the gallardo, and if you look at long term value, find a Ferrari from 1990-2000 that has held it's value like the diablo.

No offense, but I can't agree with used Ferrari's. The amount of used 360 Spiders seems to be rising every year, and the F430 Spider is looking to follow suit.
