Rumor has it that there's a gentleman by the name of "Shalom" (could be off on the spelling) who's got a collection of cars that he keeps in Colorado... Scuttlebut also says that said gentleman HAD an NNO but sold it to someone in Japan for 2 Million Dollars...

...Does anyone know anything about the aforementioned gentleman, his collection in Colorado or a 2 Million Dollar NNO sale to someone in Japan...? Any information would be a great deal of help; thank you...

A few years ago there was a guy in Colorado that owned some ski resort(s) in Aspen who went bankrupt or something like that. He had a ton of cars stored at one of the airports in Colorado. The bank repo-ed everything and was selling the stuff. Could one of those cars have been a Ferrari and over the course of time, the car urbaned-legended itself into an Enzo?

George Gillett, different guy... John Smollen handled his cars for him... George was a big real estate guy; when the market tanked, he went bankrupt, ergo, forfeiting his collection... He also owned a radio station... Among a whole slew of cars, George owned:
    500 Mondial Series II
    500 TRC
    250 TDF

Can't remember his name, but he was in Celebrity Car mag about 4 months ago. He is an heir to some yellow pages fortune. Hiis garage is "only" 10,000 sq feet, and he's planning on expanding it to 25,000.

I saw an interview with Reggie Jackson this weekend and he said that he had sold 30 of his cars and was now down to 60 cars!!! No mention of specific marques like Ferrari or others. He's probably still getting over that giant garage fire that destroyed a few dozen of his Mopars.
