I saw a screening of it tonight and thought it was very good. Denzel Washington was excellent. Next thursday i am seeing the original at the same theater so i'll let you know how it compares. I would gladly pay the 9.50 to see it at the local multiplex if i didnt see it tonight, which cant be said about many other movies.

I'm looking foward to this one as well. I saw the original as a kid but it was over my head, then rented it when it was rereleased around 1990. The original was great on the re-viewing. Sinatra was at his acting best.

Just saw The Bourne Supremacy the other night when it opened. At least as good as the first one IMO. Glad to hear The Manchurian Candidate holds it's own against the original as sometimes remakes of movies lose a lot of the appeal of the original.

I saw Manchurian Candidate and was entertained. It didn't live up to the hype around it though.
I saw Bourne Supremacy and left annoyed. The camera work made me sick and the plot really did not seem as good as the first one.

It was good, but sadly, I found myself wondering when it would end. It wasnt as engrossing as I hoped it would be.

Movie I am most looking forward to this year, Oceans 12.

Yo, I second that about the camera work. I wish directors would stop already with this attempt at hyper realism (putting you right in the action) and give us camera angles where the audience can actually see something.
