Thanks to all the chatters for helping me with my intermittent function of turn signal/hazard light. The mystery was hiding in the 7 prongs-switch. Over time the 2 plastic pivots inside the switch with their respective copper head no longer push the flexible contacts inside the switch, springs (4 of them!)fatigue or metal wear, whatever the reason , these 2 pivots can leave you in limbo without any yurn signal or no hazard flashing or even only one sided blinking...The switch was designed to give you only the hazard OR the turn signal...sometimes none or partally so when it gets older! The switch can be repaired by removing the rivets( Mr. Dremmel) and relpacing them with1/2 inch machine bolts or a new switch...Good luck!
