    After all the common desire to me Mr Parks, me included, I'm willing to put my $ where my heart is and say we need to all fly up and see him, or fly him to a central location.

    Osh this year or next?

    If FChat can bring Pap from Mt. Isa, Australia, for a well deserved visit to America, well....

    I can get 2-3 of the DFW guys around for a meet. Did Oshkosh 2 years ago, so might be due. Reno, there is one, right?

    It would be my honor to meet Bob Parks, plus I haven't been to Oshkosh in 3 years.

    I bet we could even twist Rob Lay's arm to fly in.

    I selfishly vote for Oshkosh too. Rob, I'll pay for your gas for a few circuits around a pattern in your Columbia. Damn it, I need to get back into flying and get my license current.

    I've not seen Oshkosh or Bob Parks and would like to see both. I'd like to cast my vote for Reno though. In honor of the fallen.

    I'd vote Oshkosh. Then I could afford to kick in a few bucks towards Bob's trip. If Reno I don't know if I could afford to go.

    Haven't been to EAA in 26 years. Bob has never been there.

    Heck, Kurt and Mark probably live within 20 miles of me and I've never met them!

    Love to have Bob show up at Reno but Osh would more than likely put him in contact with a more diverse and larger crowd. More to do and see at Osh but the weather can really be 'sucky' at times. Sortta apples and oranges. Tough call.

    I have always enjoyed Bob's posts. The aviatorchat.com thread is actually my homepage. During a crazy day, it is great to see Bob's posts.
    Count me in on a meet at Oshkosh this year.

    Airventure is less than 2 weeks away - who's going?

    I'll be there with my father (visiting from NJ), likely on Wednesday or Thursday. Mainly because Chuck Aaron will be doing aerobatics in the Red Bull heli:
