Gilles, that mega is amazing. Thanks again for the info. I think it's very cool and would like to find out more. Is it a newer car? Does mega still exist?

    Merci.

I'm not sure I've got all my info correct, so Gilles might want to back me up on this. Mega was formed in 1992 as a subdivision of French microcar producer Aixam (forming the Aixam-Mega group). They made the Mega Track which was a combination of a sports car and a 4x4. The next car they proceeded to make was the Monte Carlo, a beautiful sports coupe, don't know whether they ever made more than one example though. That would be all as far as sports cars are concerned.

Aixam-Mega still exist, but they build only microcars and the like. They did at one time compete in (IIRC the name..) Andros Trophy - those crazy ice races, with one of their (very interestingly designed) hatchbacks.

PS. Here's a photo of me, Paris 2006, in a Mega :D... (which would make me a MegaDriver :p)

the company makes especially small cars without licence.
But this mark also made two Supercars, Méga Track and Monte Carlo.
the name of this compagny is AIXAM

you can find pictures of this mark on Google image :
    AIXAM Society

    AIXAM MONTE CARLO

    ths official website : http://www.aixam.com/index.php?page_id=1143&mere_id=1142&anim=true

For the Aixam Monte Carlo, I think that only 2 models, grey & yellow.
I saw only one time, for Mondial de l'Auto to Paris, no take photos !

Just to make it clear - this means you don't need a driver's license to drive them.

Gilles - do you know if this applies to France only? I would suppose so... Also - is that the interior of the Track?

    yes for all,

but I don't know if you can drive the Aixam models in your country ?
Maybe, I think, because their engines are 49,9 cm3. same motocycle (scooter,.....).
But you have an other engines too, 125 cm3 and more and you must have a drive licence.

Great pics as always guys! Thx for posting! :D

But Gilles, what's the story on the large old photo in front of the terrace of Cafe De Paris in the third pic from post 227, behind the F430? Are they renovating the place or something?

Nice fire truck in the second pic in post 234 :D
