The piazza with a different iconic model featured daily for public viewing. The Pit Stop, offering a vintage, full service working gas station. The Ferrari General Store with select Ferrari merchandise. Casa Enzo and Caffee Ferrari where Ferrari owners can enjoy Italian espresso and gelato by Filicori Zecchin and Grom, California T ride and drives, available on a first come first served basis.

Thanks for the pictures Marcel and Wayne. Thanks to FChat I was able to secure a hotel and 2 Quail tickets today. Although a Ferrari caretaker for almost 40 years I have never been to Monterrey weekend. Concorso Italiano, the Concours, Laguna and RM are now on my dance card. Can't wait!!

I noticed the Daytona conversion picture. As others have noted there are no plexi headlight Spyders originally built by the factory. My Dad bought a plexi coupe in Canada back in the 70s and shipped it to Straman for the conversion. It was converted and fully restored and was a stunning black/tan example when complete. He and my Mom decided to fly out to CA to pick up the car and drove it across the country home to Delaware. That was a story in itself.

I wonder if that is the same car.....can't be that many plexi conversion that are black/tan.

May I suggest to go to Gooding & Co. Auction in Pebble Beach Saturday and Sunday evening. Some really spectacular one off Ferraris there.

The lusso looks fantastic and restoration looks super. I miss my lusso. I love the color combo.

 

Yes, I too was quite impressed when I saw it Sunday at the Portola Plaza in downtown MRY where RM Sotheby's has their set up.
