Okay, I'm probably gonna make some people mad I suppose, but what the he##. I own a 308, finally. Wanted one for over two decades. Hands down its probably the prettiest "car" ever made by anyone, anywhere, ever. And in regards to the TR being the most well known? I think 10 years of Magnum and all these years of reruns pretty much would dispells that. The 308 IS Ferrari.

But the question was what is the prettiest "Ferrari", not the prettiest car. Five pages of F40, (sorry, its awesome, not "pretty") F50, 355, 348, 250 something, yes, many are very pretty. But in the end, what is beauty? Isnt Ferrari beautiful for what it is? What it came from? Where it started? The most beautiful Ferrari I have ever seen, is the 166 Barchetta. From its denty wrinkley hand hammered skin, its simple little tail lights, that tiny little V12 hiding under that simple little cover that almost looks like a hood. Simple. utterly simple. And it kicked a$$ all over the place and gave the Ferrari you love today, its beginning.

I read years back that it was the only car on display in the Museum of art in Paris, as THE example of the post war car. And from a nastalgia standpoint, it had Enzo's hands all over it. It was HIS car. The second most prettiest Ferrari, IMO, is a pontooned fendered 250 TR.

I have a hard time reading 5 pages of what Ferrari enthusiasts think is the prettiest Ferrari made, and not a single mention of at least his cars that put him on the map in the first place. If they had been failures, there would have not been much further mention of Ferrari after the mid 40's.

Paul, there's a huge difference between putting Ferrari on the map because the car is an icon and an iconic actor putting Ferrari on the map by driving one of their cars...

With that said, i love the 308/328 series and enjoy riding in and driving them...

Lastly - not to get picky - the thread is about the most BEAUTIFUL Ferrari... There's a huge difference between pretty and beautiful... Pretty is a Georgia O'Keefe painting; beautiful is a woman in a black, spaghetti-strapped dress... :)

    F40, Testarossa, or 328.

Maybe its because those were the cars in the 80's I grew up drooling over as a kid, but either way, I deffinatly think those 3 would rank somewhere close to the top of the list.

Without a doubt Enzo is the most beautiful.
I was at a Motor Expo here in Bangkok and a Ferrari dealer here took me up close with the Enzo and it is the most beautiful. The interior is great, engine is incredible.

I've noticed a couple of things from this thread. The first thing is that the majority of people have voted for the older Ferrari's. Now this means that the individuals are either fogies or they are plain right. I reckon it's the latter. This proves that Ferrari have seen their better days. Who cares about 250 MPH, 0-60 in 2.5 secs. The older cars have a certain magic that you can't match withnewer Ferrari's. The famous aluminium gearstick/knob, the traditional aluminium (with holes) steering wheel are all but gone. These are the things that make you feel like your in a proper racing car. It's all computers and cats now, what a shame. I also noticed that the Enzo hardly has any votes. I don't know what the fuss is all about with this car. All I know is that this is better looking...

Was owned by our Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands. And the sad news is, he died today. He had many Ferraris, starting with 2x 212 Inter and last was a 456 I believe and if you ever see a picture of a vintage Ferrari with the Dutch Royal "AA13" license plate, it was one of his.

I'm with you on this one, but to get back to reality...

For the ones I can actually afford, I'd have to say the F355.

Then in my dreams it would have to be the
    288GTO

    even further out
    F50

    and into the abiss
    Enzo
