Hunt an Hill piloted Maserati Trofeo Cup cars. A really nice video, have fun! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZlRFzQnZGg[/ame]
A couple of middle-of-the-pack lightweights with famous last names...and Hunt seems like a real prick. No thanks.

Beauty as always, is in the eye of the beholder- The 70's were a truly dreadful decade! Few if any car companies can claim to have produced anything beautiful during that period - especially Maserati... And the bora, ghibli, and merak were the best of a bad lot. Yes, the pre-70's cars were beautiful and the 89 spyder looks nice, and the contemporary models are a vast improvement. just my opinion, not trying to start a most beautiful war.

To me my Spyder GT is beautiful. It has a clean, simple, purposeful elegance without chrome, creases and bolt-ons. It has a front splitter and rear wing built into and not on top of the basic design. To me the road of visual gimmicks often ends with flames painted on the side of the car. The Spyder reminds me of the Ferrari 275 and 365 cars which are its provenance. In a few weeks the Granturismo facelift will be presented. It will be a decent facelift with a new bumper design at the front and rear, an adapted air intake design and a new infotainment system with apple car play etc.. The plan is to produce this version further three years until the all new Granturismo will be launched. I'm very curious about the fotos. I'm sure this car will be my next daily driver. With the current GT Sport I have driven more than 120k km without any problems about the last three years, just with a lot of fun. I'm one of the few that likes this car. Going down the road it looks like a Tank. Tough looking car! Gorgeous soft interior. The seats are like sitting on a cloud.
Agree.. I love driving it. Lots of torque... Sound and smell is good too, and has ha huge presence on the road. Good enough for Pavarotti too who even had a Kyalami. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice Daniel! Wow and 120 K km in 3 years! My 3200 nearly has 100 000 (99 xxx) and just got a new clutch some weeks ago. Have fun with your car(s) Markus
The face lifted GranTurismo is already in production. US Dealers are being told it will have very short production run of less than 3months. Those cars will have to last for 18 months until the new GranTurismo is ready.

How are those Ferraris this Maserati's provenance? The 3200 & 4200 have their origins well before Ferrari or Fiat for that matter were involved with Maserati. Goes back to the Detomaso era actually, not in production of course. Are you saying Giugiaro "borrowed" the design cues from those cars?
One of the reasons the Spyder GT looks so good is it is a real two-seat sports car. Size matters in sports cars. Frankly, I think the 4200 couples are too long, and the Granturismo is way too big. If Maser is going to redo these cars, I sincerely hope they make them smaller.
May not be the most beautiful Maserati, but certainly the most beautiful 4-door car (ever made?) Image Unavailable, Please Login
