Sorry I missed it, but glad to see ya'll had fun. Even better to see so many cars out. The skiing was great, but it woulda been a lot of fun running with you boys. I'll make the next one for sure
Thanks John! High praise coming from a maestro like you. Wanted to fool around with aperture settings and shutter speads, but it was just too damn cold! BTW, for some excellent, excellent photography, take a look here: http://www.thebestemployee.com/forum/showthread.php?t=96213
Hey dude, I hope I didn't cut you off or anything?! Everything and anything was going so fast at that point. It would of been cool if you could of met us, but next time. It was good meeting you.
the only people pulled over were 2 random cars not in our run (to my knowledge) ....innocent bystanders!! I know the FordGT topped out at 160mph...
I dunno.. I think John might have topped that. I was at about 130 at one point and his car made me feel like i was in slow motion. Lots of respect for that ride.
No worries! Maybe I'll see you at one of the tracks this year! It was good meeting all the guys at that first stop in the morning.
Thanks Keith...I'm just now starting to feel a little better. After spending the day on my couch, I can tell you the we will be seeing the first days of Spring next weekend. Do I hear a "it's 60 freakin' degress run"?
"it's 60 freakin' degress run"....wow...my heart just thUMped at the thought of that.. -glad you're feeling better, and if you ever need quickndirty medical consultation, just PM or call me!!
>> IN << Need to be home a little earlier if this run works out. Like 11am. But not leading this time! Need someone with a heavier foot out in front then myself. On the way back when those two patrol cars on the side of 78 with their cherries on and no one pulled over. I thought they were waiting for us. Figured they were on the airwaves too. " Now there's something you dont see everyday." Five mins later, Eric, "Will you two ladies (me and Vik) take the skirts off and drive?" I didnt know if they were waiting for the whole pack to pass before they pulled out.
Ok Ok... Since you twisted my arm! I dont mind leading when I know where we're going. That Italian restaurant thing was a mooky situation. Vik asked for help getting to 35South. I offered to get the pack to 35 south then it became an adventure to actually find the place. I think Vik was on the phone with Lupe getting directions then forwarding them to me. That wasnt my turf. I wish I knew about that place earlier. Wouldnt have stopped at the Choo Choo car diner. Everything happens for a reason.. was still a great day for a burn! Cant wait to drop the top! (the car's top! I need a tan first!)
Yeah bro, what to do. Knew the area. Sort of. Was juggling b/w Lupe on the cell and you on the talkie. But don't think we got too lost. One U-Turn was all it took (and what a U-Turn it was) - Eric - hope you're feeling better bro. Can't believe you got sick off of PANCAKES! - Hmmm, as far as a "60 degree" run {64 technically, if the forecast is to believed}...as long as its Sunday, early and with my buds, I'm IN-N-N. Only, this time, lets shy away from roads where we KNOW there's po-po at every marker!
So Vik are you going to start another thread for this weekend? I want to invite a friend who has a Ford Gt and I showed him pictures from this past weekends and want to go together.
