The other wealth thread gave me the idea for this poll, which I don't think has ever been done here before. It'll remain open until the end of this year. Answers to the pole are anonymous, and noone is obliged to reveal their answer in the thread. So the poll will be accurate, remember to change the amount to USD if you live outside the USA. This can easily be done at www.xe.com. Try to keep your answers honest.
How about a broke catergory? I almost feel like I'm lying when I put "less than $250k." How about "way less than $250k"?
I think this would be a lot more interesting if we tried to guess other users' net worth based on the information they have posted to Fchat. LOL

This thread is embarrassing and juvenile. It will bring out the worse in people like the "wealth" thread upon which it is based. Let's grow up a little.

There is a distinct group on this site that is very interested in flashing their wealth (or flashing their claimed wealth) around. Check the archives for the -Wealth thread -Best suits thread -Watches thread -Daily driver thread -Swimming pool thread You'll see a distinct group that positively REVELS in these types of threads because it gives 'em a chance to tell everyone else about what they've got. Problem is, this is the Internet, so anyone can be anything they claim. And most people think it's tacky and lacking class to brag about yourself. No doubt some wouldn't be able to just vote in this thread without adding a comment that is intended to sound innocent like "are we talking liquid or total assets because if it's liquid I'm only $10mm but total assets I'm over $200mm" but such question is really intended to say "hey I've got $200mm!!!!". Then the other braggarts can't take that so they start one-up'ing each other.... end result? We all look lame. In general, those with the most, don't talk about it. Those with complexes talk about it constantly. I don't see ANYTHING good that can come from this thread.
Yeah i agree. Nothing good and beneficial can come of this thread. Our wealth is our own private information that should not be published on a website. This thread is very Jimmyesque....

Therefore noone should feel this thread encourages bragging, etc. All you have to do is vote, not post copies of your tax returns... BTW: I highly doubt we have 7 billionaires on here, but who knows, I could be wrong.
I see your point James. But i think everyone is against the idea on Principal. You have made it up so as to everybody remains anonymous, but still, if everybody voted legit, and there was one billionaire on there. Somepeople might feel threatened to know that there is someone on here of that net worth, and not speak up about it. There are many issues that come into play here. But im against it on principal. BTW, i still voted in the poll truthfully!
