This is a great new Porsche Supercar.

I am on the list. I have no approved allocation yet.

In December 2020, I walked away from a GT4 I had ordered. Stupid, stupid, me.

I also missed the some of the surge in the current economy.

    I still own:
    2020 Porsche 911 Carrera
    2019 Ford Mustang GT350

I can wait until prices get better or carry on with two great cars.
    No problems.

Good luck, I hope you are able to procure one of these special Porsches.

The numbers for the 2022 911 Turbo S Lightweight are simply epic! C&D tested an example of this car and achieved the following mind-boggling performance numbers:
    0-30 mph - 0.8 sec.
    0-60 mph - 2.1 sec.
    1/4 mile - 9.9 sec @ 139 mph
    Lateral Gs - 1.12g

The car is certainly sensational but personally, I don't think I would ever really get my money's worth from this car as I don't really like tracking AWD cars and this car is way too fast to really wring out on public roads.

    I agree.

I am not buying any car in this economy. They are all too expensive. And we may be headed for a big Recession (two plus quarters of negative GDP).

Car is great but weight loss basically comes down to seats. Maybe worth 40 of the 70 lb total loss. I would get a tts optioned for luxury or just get a gt3 if want sport. Tts lw will hold its value better than regular yrs though

It comes down to a lot more than just seats given those performance gains...trust me. This is an epic car performance wise and I do agree with you that this car will hold its value over time.

    SoCal.

Throw in dealer markup, which here in late 2021 was $100K on Lightweight cars selling at the local dealer, and it's a $342K Turbo. That's an expensive TT....

My dealer is MSRP or below. The new Turbo LW is $216K + options or abut $222K. I'd rather get the GT3 Touring but couldn't get an allocation (i.e., I haven't spent enough with them).

Whatever, It looks like a normal Porsche 911 to most people.

Yet, it has some extra performance when used legally.
