    Congrats. I got rid of my GT2 and replaced it with a 6.0 You may miss some things about the P car -the ability to drive it and park it anywhere, and its quickness from a standing stop- but alot of the 996 aspects did not wear well with me. enjoy the Gallardo. And, if you are like me, it won't be your last P car, either (but i'm thinking late 930 turbo, nyuck, nyuck, nyuck...)

    Congrats Charles! Like Bill mentioned above, you're gonna miss being able to park the P car anywhere, but you'll have much more fun in the Gallardo than you ever can in the P car.

    the gallardo was picked up in houston and we drove it back up to austin...very relaxing and enjoyable. but if you let me know ahead of time when yall go out, ill keep that in mind.

    thanks for all the congrats! it is a hassle that everytime i take out the gallardo, i have trouble leaving her behind to run inside a store and get something, but the sheer fun she gives just from driving is well worth any inconvenience she causes. im sure that every other gallardo owner out there wholeheartedly agrees =)

    Is the driveway a retarded concrete or acid wash/stained concrete. Love the finish and color diff. on the border.

    Is this the one from Expo? That was the first Gallardo I had ever been up close too for an extended period. Gorgeous car. Some say they do not like the rear end, I love it. I just wish it had gull wing doors. I was checking out 996s that day at Expo ironically.

    no, i went to expo and nxcess and they didnt quite give me the trade in value i was looking for my 996 turbo. but that gallardo was the one that i was looking at initially. it sold before we could finish up the numbers. expo and nxcess have quite the inventory though.
