im a happy owner of a new s4 with 340 hp. i believe this will be a nice car too but 420 hp from whats essentially a gallardo v10 will not get the job done against 500 hp m5 and e55's of the world. dont forget cadillac and jag also. i expected more

I had the good fortune of spending a week in an S4. Absolutely loved it. I can only assume S6 would be that much more enjoyable with a bunch more power.

I also expected some more out of the new S6 maybe we'll have to wait until the next RS6.
I also own an Audi myself a 02 A4 1.8T with some minor mods. I think I'm somewhere over the 320+hp mark. No dyno yet.

The interior is Even nicer, than the E55 and M5.

I love the new Fog lights, I want something like that for my car.
Also it lacks of a manual tranny. I think.

*L*, for your 1.8T to be making 320+ hp, you will need at least a Stage 1 ECU, KO4, DP and full exhaust. That's not exactly minor modifications, my friend.

I'm sorry to say that I don't much care for the aesthetics of the new Audis. Unfortunately, I don't like the new bumper/grill treatment. Sorry.

As an RS6 owner, I am afraid that the next RS6 will look very similar to the S6 (albeit more aggressive). I much prefer the original RS6, even though the newer RS6 will almost certainly be a significant improvement in performance.

Although, to play devil's advocate, how much bhp is enough in a saloon? The RS6 has 450. The E55 has 469 (IIRC). I don't even know what the new M5 has (over 500, right?). I mean, we all like more. More IS better. But, realistically, how much bhp can we make use of?

If you are almost doubling the power without putting it on a dyno for some testing I would do that now. That is just asking for trouble.

Is it just me, or does the rear-end in those pics have some Bangle in it?
