    Yes, the first 2 or sometimes 1 letter isalways the city - thats firm!
    HD = Heidelberg
    after the dash...its all up to you!!!!!!!!!
    TR = Testarossa
    1991 = the year my testa has been built.
    The "wish" plates costs for sure something more. We have to blood & pay 20,- (T W E N T Y ) extra bucks :D

    20 bucks?? wow...thats cheap and thats explain why there are so many "personal" Ferrari plates in Germany.

    PS: I knew that the TR was Testarossa and the year it was built:D:D:D:D, i figured that out a looong time ago LOL ;)

    I think its cool with "personal" plates - it gives the car a bit more soul/personality if you know what I mean! :)

    In NL the plates stay with the car too.
    No personal plates, no city mentioned, just a letter/number combination.
    If you are a little "into" the plates, you can see which year/month it is registrated. That's all.

    But lucky we have "nice" YELLOW ones.................................... :(:(:(

    BTE, the Swedish plates are funny: Saw a testarossa with just & only
    "testa" on the plates and another one in Baden-Baden from Sweden with "512TR"

    Agree on the Norwegian plates :D

    Are you sure it was a Swedish car??? the Swedish have 3 letters followed by 3 digits - like ABC (sticker in the middle) 123 - but yet again it COULD ofcourse been a customized plate.
    The same thing with the Finish cars - ABC (NO sticker) 123 :)

    Paul,
    I`ll try to find the pics from Baden-Baden 2003, Ferrari Club Germany meeting.
    The Swedish drivers are friends from the FCD and they have been invited for the event. Lots of f cars from Sweden showed up. In 2002 the FCD has been in Sweden for 1 week and this was the beginning of a friendship.
    Thats why I remember all the swedish cars with the "custom" plates.
    But.....I still don`t know for sure if they are fakes?!
    Anyway, it looks funny ;)

    Great! To be honest... I didn't think that about you Paul :) probably because of your passion for metal too ;)

    There is a lot you dont know about me ;)
    No seriously, there are alot of great music out there, not just metal - if I'm in the right mod I put on Mozart's Requiem - I really like that one.
    Chopin, I dont have so much knowledge about him, but I've heard som of his work.:)

    Carl Orff was a German - born 1895, died 1982 - his masterpeice was "Carmina Burana" a very famous "song" came out of that work, and are still used to this day, a "song" called O Fortuna, I'm VERY sure you have heard it before, its VERY hard to try to explain to you how it goes, but that "song" gives you the chill, with all the chorus...its just amaaaaazing.:D
    Sorry for the loooong reply.

    Ofcourse there is a lot i don't know :)
    And yes it's about the mood your'e in... same goes for me i guess.
    But i have discovered that a lot of people have a hard time to admit if they like classical music or not. Like it's a tabu or something!

    Chopin is mostly piano... very great!

    I found a music sample on www from Carl Orff... the one i found was pretty dark and sad.... :)
    I can imagine i have heard him before... I'm not good in remembering who has made what! :D:D

    Classical music IS THE REAL music in this world, all the other crap that we listen to are actually just garbage, if these guys had been alive today and heard our modern music, they would had flipped over in their grave...:D

    If you can download music, try to download O Fortuna - I can garatee you have heard that "song" before :D:D:D
    You're right, its quite hard to keep track of who made what...I'm not THAT deep into it :)
    I'm a sucker for chorus...bnig powerful male chorus
