LUCKILY my parents never did that!!! They can't sing... eeh euhh I can't sing as well!
But they had an idea about telling us all they knew about everything we passed by!... houses, castles, streets, factories... everything!!!
They probably ment well.. but ehh *Sigh*

Ya, I told her to take several breaks during the trip, and she agree on that, cause we dont smoke in the car, so sha HAVE to stop every now and then....driving 8 - 9 hours without stops is very dangerous..

Yes breaks is really important! Especially with your roads and sometimes with those narrow roads with deep edges... don't know what it's called... and don't know if she is going to drive on that kind of roads tomorrow

except for all the stuff you have to clean up before Merete arrives at home men usually have htat after some days home alone

 

How tall mountain would you like?? (beware: bridges, tunnels etc.)

the road over Mount Stryn is very narrow, car and truck can pass, two trucks, then you'll need to slow down....
on the way up to the mountain there are some heavy climbing and zillions of curves, so if you get over the edge there, then you might have a minor problem.
the climbing is very tough, specially for trucks (this is the only way to this part of the country, therefore there are a lot of trucks which pass the mountain every day) the trucks usaly cant go any faster than 10 - 20 km/h - and getting BEHIND a Danish if you're time is running short...HA HA HA good luck. - there are no way to drive pass them either, too many curves....

Those kind of roads looks veeery pretty... but i'm sure i would hate them if i had to drive there with a truck... no doubt about that
And i can imagine that with the danish truck drivers we are not used to that kind of roads.

I still remember my parents house if my brother was left home alone for a weekend... gosh!!!

 

Truck drivers from Turkey and other east block countries with Furmula1 tires over the mountain during winter is a cool sight...if you see it on the TV

 

hmm I have to take care about what i wish for ... I still remember once i wished for some snow from Greenland ( I had a girlfriend up there) ... I GOT a bucket of snow
