sure you want to participate in the useless "0846" discussion?? btw: I know your father's car is a REAL MG!!!!!
nahh i'm not sure now But he made me mad in there... made me wonder why some people just don't want anything good to happen for others So i couldn't just shut up Yes it is a real MG But some might not think that because that surtain spareparts isn't intirely original
Don't get mad. If you get annoyed just leave the tread. Fchat has to be fun!!!!! F$ck all the "has to be 100% original" people. These are mostly the people who don't own a Ferrari or other classic car. The cars are meant to drive and have fun. If your father fits a modern oilfilter for better drivibillity or to get it more reliable it's ok. It is his car and he has to drive with it. Some people thought I was crazy to put the 348 wheels on the Mondial because it is not original. F$ck them, it's my car, I paid it, I worked for it, so I do with it what I want. Other opinions I really don't care about. sorry, just my 0.02
I think it important that this is discussed. Jim is claiming to own perhaps one of the most important parts of Ferrari racing history. This needs to be proved and he shouldn't be given an easy time just because he's a nice guy and the car looks great. P4replica might get up peoples nose with his style, but he's doing what needs to be done.
I agree on this with you Simon. Only the way how the discussions are going on is not my style. It is more getting like a flamewar and everybody wants to hear "you're right".
BTW Simon, can you help me with this? It's getting to technical english for me and not really following it anymore. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=134989235#post134989235
Yes Fchat has to be fun,,,, i agree Just could't resist to add my 0,5 cent I totally agree on the second part too if you use your car as it's ment to be... you sometimes have to change stuff... that's okay IMO. I like the 348 wheels much better!!! and I don't really care if it's socalled original or not... if you like it... that's it!!! BTW... i'm back
The solenoid they are talking about is the electro magnetic switch on the starter which engages starter motor/flywheel when you turn the ignition key. I think the heat soak they mention is just the solenoid getting hot and not working properly.
Thanks very much Simon, you're a great help. Now it is getting more clear what they are talking about.
