Hello Tina A small question please... Week 38 I have to go to Danmark for the first time in my life. Have to visit clients in Aarhus, Odense and Kopenhagen. We go by car (not the F... of course) and I wanted to know how it is with the speed limits... and the police policy. Are they tough ? Can I drive 160 all the time like I do here ? Are the tickets expensive ? Thanks for your short reply..
Hehe... Reports say in Sweden a 19 year old waitress in a cafe got a rather big tip from a customer, a 1979 Porsche 924, worth 3.200 euro's. At first she tought it was a joke, but... it wasn't. The guy who gave her the present said he was bedazzled by the girl's smile and doesn't regret his decision. Nice. "Keep the change"
Hi Henkie, First of all DON'T DRIVE 160 kmh in Denmark We've got new rules/laws by 1st september. And right now the police are having major anti speed campaigns and lot's of people have lost their drivers licence lately, and others are getting huge fines for speeding!! Limits are: City: 50 kmh if no other signs are at sight. Country roads: 80 kmh max. Highway/autobahn: 130 kmh BUT limited to 110 in many places. So my best advice is to take it easy and plan some xtra time in between your meetings And BTW, if you have some extra time, please feel free to give us a call and we can meet somewhere, if you like. Would be nice to say hello to a fellow Fchatter
hahaha it's in the Danish newspapers too I guess he made her day !!! Allthough it's not one of the most exciting Porsches
Hello Tina... Wow... so the Danish cops are definitely not lurking around there.. That's a pity as we have to do a lot of km there :-( Thanks for your kind attention regarding this matter. We can at least push the peddal till the Danish border then.....
