Am I the only one who has started to grow on the new countach? Let me know.

Funnily enough, it’s one of the few designs of recent times where the more I look at it, the less I like about it.

Agreed! If your going to do an iconic retro such as a Countach, please go clean sheet and not an Aventadore body kit. The Aventadore iteration has long run its corse. And please make doors that go straight up and not angled out. Terrible looking design. One more thing- the over inflated cost and limited number of 112 is ridiculous. Let’s do a lot more, and make them accessible to more than the mega rich. My 2 cents.

By law the doors must go out then up and cannot be a pure scissor design - the Diablo was the last true scissor door.

Are you sure about that? I ask because the Murcielago goes straight up with no outward direction to the door opening.

What law is that? Link please.

I thought it was the Aventador+variants use a FRAMELESS window so they literally cannot go straight-up as there is nothing to secure a frameless window to the body.

    Correct.

Correct, plus the window pane in the up position had to clear the window weather-strip.

Thanks guys, I didn’t know about the new door laws. t’s so sad that design is so scrutinized as time goes on. I guess safety is important, but I miss the days of design freedom.
