I started this thread back in 2013 when the 500-based Abarth model was, indeed, new.

My use of the word 'new' was simply to separate this model from the much earlier 1960's era Abarth models.

You know someone’s a true car guy when he has an F40 and still gets excited putting 10mm spacers on his Abarth :).

I purchased my Abarth from an owner who had two of them. The one he sold me was his lil track toy. It had a cage in it, which I asked him to remove before taking ownership. He also had a GT3RS

Mine came with KW V3 coilovers, magnaflow muffler, front big brake kit, and a tune. I’ve left everything he’s done the same as the car is hella fun to drive. I’ve driven completely stock ones and can’t say they are nearly as fun and exciting. He’s also done some questionable exterior mods that I would like to reverse, but the car came with so many goodies I just had to have it.

Looking good, truly a pocket rocket. Biggest problem I had was I didn't drive my Ferrari enough when I had my Abarth!

So I took my Abarth out this past weekend. It was the second time I took it out this year (sadly). There are better hot hatches out there on paper but none make me smile like this one does.

To think I was thinking of selling it...

    Fun fun fun!

Ok, I'm officially obsessed with these and want one to daily. Are they decent in winter with dedicated snows?

I don't know about snows, but for a daily on rough roads I'd probably recommend the 16" Abarth wheels. The 17 and low profile tires will really shake you up.
