Angelina will be a tough act to follow. Hollywierd will demand Karima starve herself for the role; ie get rid of the "pouch". Send her to the shooting range and have her fire all sorts of weapons so she looks good doing it, etc. It will be interesting to see how Karima plays out Lara Croft.
I never understood the mainstream obsession with having a rock hard women with rock hard abs that **** is gross i dont want a women who looks and feels like a man (glares at keira knightly) i must prefer a soft women.
For the past few Tomb Raider games they've been using a REAL person to model the IN GAME character. For Tomb Raider Legends, AKA the game about to be released, the model is Karima Adebibe. Angelina Jolie was never a model for the Lara Croft in-game character. If a 3rd movie were to be made Jolie would likely play Lara again, as she has expressed interest in doing so. Currently there are no plans for it other than SCI and Paramount 'negotiating' for quite some time.
Knightly's abs are a bit extreme, but she is still mighty fine in my book. This girl would look a lot better if she lost some body fat and added some muscle.

After seeing her other pics in this thread, I will have to say she looks even worse... even somewhat "manly" features. For those who haven't noticed - That is not her hair. In fact that wig looks like one of those peices that are sold at my local mall in a fashion kiosk. BTW, I agree with some of you guys about a woman not looking like a ripped 16 yr old boy. I love women that are fit, but have CURVES. Not fat but fill out a pair of jeans, and substantial sweater meat is a must. If she is 5'7" and 105 lbs, there is nothing womanly left.
I just watched 'Into the Blue' with Jessica Alba. Now, she has a gorgeous body. I mistakingly said "ooooo" on a certain underwater ass shot, and was promptly given 'the stare' by my girlfreind. For reference. "I'd ooooo if your ass looked like that too" is not the proper response in a situation like that. Even when said in jest.
Game Franchise. Star Wars exists in Movies, Comics, Computer Games, Console Games ranging from the original Nintendo to the XBOX, Board Games, Card Games, Collector Mugs, Collector Plates and Monopoly. Star Wars is still a Movie Franchise. Tomb Raider is still a game franchise. And you blindly assumed it to be true. This topic, and all the others like it on dozens of webforums are prime examples of why you shouldn't just believe everything you read. Karima Adebibe replaces Jill De Long. Jill was the 5th person to model the Croft character, Karima is the Sixth. Ignoring Jolie. There have also been two different voice actors.
