umm not even close to a 458 lol. I think the car is stunning and we all know the performance will be out of this world. The 488 will be in this cars dust
Don't like it al all. Maybe its the color or angle or lighting. Not a fan. I'm glad it doesn't look the same as all their other cars. I'll reserve final judgement for when I see it in person.
If it looks like that I don't care how fast it is.. not a fan. Hopefully it will grow on me when we get to see some more and better pictures of it.
That looks pretty damn nice. Just hope the back end is not like the 570. Have not seen a proper picture of that
I am thinking the same. the pannel gap just above the rear lights look pretty big. Maybe a wing can be extended. Perhaps air brake as well
That's the spoiler. It's active. It lifts up like P1. There is already an official teaser image of it.
Wait till you see it w the rear wing up.... maybe you'll like it more Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I have to agree, it looks much better with the wing and some of the other shots seen so far! Tempting package for sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Car has a dynamic rear wing. Doors appear to have hollow tubes through them that direct airflow when shut, which will explain the lack of side scoops. All lines resolved really intelligently and flow very well, especially around the front wheel in my opinion. This area also closely echoes the F1 which I'm sure represent traits almost every afficiando will appreciate. The valance behind the front wheel cuts arcross and is picked up in the line of the headlight - both areas have been styled to reflect the F1. The bodywork around the rear wheel resolution gives a similar profile, and the panel line cuts upwards in a similar way. The dash drops down to a low profile in track mode, which I think is incredibly cool and sort of fun for Mclaren. Glass roof provided by the fact the doors have two windows and cut right across the roof of the car. North of 700 horsepower and a potentially more 'fun' orientated package could and should make this their finest ever effort. Hopefully I'll be at this launch next week to have a look myself, friend has a deposit down. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is the Akebono brake system installed like on the P1 ? Can be found on the calipers, a great new technology imo !
I was at the factory few weeks ago for some personal reasons ! The car is going to be epic its much better im terms of technology and much space for a tall guy like me..that's I think all im allowed to share about what I saw and experienced, there is privet viewing on 2nd February n UK so its just days until some people see what I saw and heard. **ok I think I'm allowed to say a Masterpiece (thanks Frank Stephenson) All the best. Owned a 12c and generally loved it. I knew back in 2011 that Mclaren would become a major player in the exotic high performance car world. Ferrari will need to step up their game again to stay competitive. If Mclaren can control their supply and demand as well as their depreciation better I think they will have a winner !
I'm actually hoping 650s prices come down more so I can pick one up cheap with the 720 introduction. Then in 2 years get a p14 cheap.
