They are doing that yes. Even if it's spiders, GT's and LT's of the same model it's still quite a lot by anyone's standards.

Right you are ... not many people know about the next-gen brake systems :)

Should have been on the LaF but Ferrari is not in pace with MacL here !

I just had a 570GT delivered great deal for my 430 and great price on the 570. The car is awesome and that is coming from a Ferrari fan, I have had several Ferrari's and loved them all (360,430,458) the 570Gt is just a great car that is very fast and very drivable like a Porsche Turbo S with a much more exotic look....

There was another thread about this and Ferrari had just as many models including variations, ie F12 and F12 lusso, F12 TDF etc. Also includes race cars so 570 sprint and 570GT4 are essentially the same. Also includes hybrid variants so as you can see the number can get high pretty easily.

I had a 675LT Spider and its the best car I ever drove, so am not independent. However what made me nervous was not resale but liquidity.

Take a 458, if (bid) market is $250,000 dollars used you can sell it over and over in a day at $235. Mac market is not deep and independents are nervous, meanwhile official dealers dont want the forecourt full of nearly new at 75% of new. So I found that theoretical depreciation was not too bad but someone cutting a cheque without a parallel trade eg trade for new, it was hard to get cash.

675 LT Spider in UK is still 15% over list in theory but nobody is achieving.

Have been to MTC etc - its an AMAZING company and as a three Ferrari man would say their mid engined is currently better. 488 feels dull by comparison and steering feel absent, scuttle shake on Ferrari Spiders poor still.

Bought a 6 month old 650S at what I thought was a great discount to new (thought I would give Mac a go). 18 months later trying to offload it has been anything but easy. Stupid money being offered. Wont be venturing down the Mac path again even though I absolutely love the 650S

Keep the SLS if it's a gullwing!

I have the exact same problem - 4 car garage with a lift. Have 7 cars and ordered the H Perf....need more space.

Im planning on keeping the SLS. Its so funny you say that. A few years ago everyone was bashing on this car - Today- people are scrambling to find good specimens with low miles and the prices are climbing steadily.

    Funny how mentality shifts.

I beg to differ. As do many others. It's a great looking car. To each his own.

Agreed. Looks are entirely subjective for the most part. There is even a member here who thinks the Jag E Type is ugly....

    Two words- Ferrari FF.

Back to the subject at hand- the p14.

Anyone know how many units they will produce? What's the delivery time being quoted? Few months? End of year?

A new McL was introduced here in Europe today: the 540C. Do we mean this car with P14 ?

540 is the base version of 570. The 570 is the sports series. The 650 and 720 are the super series. Totall diffeerent in price point between the two. 540 is only euro spec I believe- not scheduled for the US

I think it looks fantastic and 0-200 in 7.5 seconds for a non-hypercar is rather impressive. Wonder if it'll do a sub 10 sec quarter mile......

    From another forum:

    "Official time for the 720 is 0-120mph (192 km/h) in 7,6s.

0-200 km/h should easily be transformed into 7,8-8,0 which is extremely fast of course, but not difficult to reach"

No idea where they got that number. LT was already 0-200 in 7.9s. Doubt the new car is slower. Why would McLaren quote a random 0-120 mph tome in the UK when everyone else quotes kph?

Someone at the event said 0-200 in under 7.5s. This sound more likely given the output and improvements to the car.
