it would sink in a storm, they don't sail in winter anymore. nobody would want to cross the atlanic in winter anyway, not when you can just hopp on a plane for peanuts. not like the old days, when they had to sail all year round come rain or shine
Really? Back in '94 when I took a cruise on the Queen Elizabeth 2 from Fiji to Melbourne, we sailed right through a typoon! Noone was allowed out on deck because you'd be killed (the waves were utterly, uttery massive. Actually washing over the deck at some stages). I remember I had quite a lot of fun in the swimming pools before they ordered everyone out of them and drained them.
