I have a 430 w/ dark blue leather and it does not seem to absorb leather treatment the way I am used to. It streaks. It is a matte finish, which is fine, but I want protection. I don't get it.

I use Lexol and have many others. I would like to find the best stuff that also has UV protection. I have some Nano stuff I haven't tried yet.

    What say you, folks?

Off subject: Colored leather wax/polish for wear spots. Need gray for my BMW M3.

    Thanks!!!

The Lexol needs to be applied evenly. Otherwise, places where there is more product will be darker. Try putting the conditioner in your hands and rubbing them together first, and then message it into the leather. It takes longer, but you should have better results.

As far as UV protection, try 303 Aerospace Protectant after you've conditioned the leather. They say it's like "SPF 40 Sunscreen ... For Your Stuff." I've never tried it, so I don't know how it'll look.

BTW, I saw your 430 at Auto Gallery Service a couple weeks ago....Beautiful color combo! I was there detailing a dropped 355 engine.

Thanks for the thumbs up. For the sake of what he is talking about....it's a silver Spyder with medium blue interior/top and burgundy anywhere there is stiching. The burgundy brings out the shapes and lines, and makes is "racier".

I can't tell you how pleased I am with it.

Anyone else have any stuff they are using? I have Meguires...have not tried it yet. I have Armour-All....I don't dismiss something out of hand.

I like Zaino's Z9 cleaner and Z10 conditioner. I have personally not had any streaking, and you can buff the conditioner off a couple minutes later for a nice, subtle finish.
