An NFL thread for our new forum. I am disappointed the Chargers are having a rough start, New England was a tough team, but they should have beaten the Packers... Bret just had an amazing game. I am excited to see the Texans are finally winning some games! Even against Indy, they have shown to be a strong team this year. Cowboys are looking good, T.O. is calmed down and making plays, and Romo continues to surprise me. It was great to see them beat Chicago. New England and Indy look like the teams to beat this year. oh, and like I've said before, I can't STAND Eli Manning, he is the #1 crybaby in the league. Ever since his temper tantrum during the draft about San Diego, I've thought he was WAY over rated.
I am really looking forward to the Patriots/Cowboys game in Week 6. That could easily be a preview of the Super Bowl this year.
Yea, and he's probably regretted his little tantrum many times since then, even Eli can hand the ball to LT every play and come up with a winning record
Nice to see that overrated hack Rex Grossman get benched. Lovie isn't afraid to make a big decision to help improve the team. This one's for you, Rex. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well Chicago's biggest problem is they didn't/don't have much to replace him with... At least Rex knows the plays, and the offense is built around him. I'm afraid for the Bears, it will have to get a lot worse before it gets better.. because they have to start from scratch again.
Dallas is looking good and so is Tony Romo. I keep waiting for the day that reality sets in that this guy cant be that good, but he's doing great! Hopefully he doesnt finish off the season like he did last year. Same here with the Week 6 Matchup vs. the Patriots, my 2 favorite teams going at it, should be great.
lovie is a defensive coach. remember, he started out as defensive coordinator for the rams, and took them to a couple of super bowls, winning one. however, i do agree with the decision to bench rex.
WTF is with San Diego this year?? They are DOWN to freekin KC right now! They better pull this one out!
How bout da Bears at 1-3, the Saints at 0-3, and the Rams at 0-4!?!? Thats three teams that made the playoffs last year and were projected to make them again this year with 1 win combined after four weeks! At this point the NFC is a crapshoot, the only teams that have been even close to consistant are the Packers and, as much as I hate to say it, the Cowboys.
No doubt about Norv now.... AJ Smith's was the problem, not Marty. LOL The RAIDERS are one mental midget's missed kick from leading the division outright!
......and LaDainian Tomlinson looks absolutely ridiculous, crying during these press conferences, wearing his mother's diamond ear rings!
Yeah Patriots! Showing that they didn't actually "cheat" that much.... Tomorrows game should hopefully be a victory.
HAHA, you hear about this guy suing the Pats because of the signal stealing....... what people try and do for a quick buck here...
Wow I wasn't expecting the Giant to just kill them, but they did. How many times did NY sack McNab? 12? It certainly was an intersting game to watch, but the Cowboys game was the most entertaining IMO.
HOW BOUT' THEM COWBOYS , Cowboys are easily the best team in the NFC and probably the NFL. Best QB,WR, RB duo, TE, O-Line, D-Line, Safety, and CB. WHAT NOW! Did I mention we have Tony Romo, future Hall of Fame QB, along with TO, Roy Williams, Terence Newman, and Jason Witten. Anyone for a perfect season, 16-0 and Super Bowl. Anyone see our new stadium, a castle built for a king, of which the Cowboys are rightfully deserving.
Wow, I never thought I would hear that when they put him in for Bledsoe last year... I thought Romo was a joke at first, he is playing well now, yes, but HOF... I don't know about all that...
I'm watching the Pats wipe the floor with the Bengals... That Chad Johnson guy needs his clock cleaned... does he look like he has a gold grill in his teeth? Or am I just seeing things?
While I do like Romo and I think he has a bright future..let us not forget a few key plays (mistakes) of his at the end of last season. It might be too early to have him lined up for the hall of fame.
Thank all of you for your continued support of America's team, if your lucky you can see them in Arizona and Hawaii in February this year. And a Super +1 on the Eli comment, Eli is horrible and the Giants will continue to suffer paying his outrageous salary for mediocre performances, put in the Pillsbury Throwboy.
I have throughly erased "that" memory from the top of my head, and it is currently being replaced with the 35+ point thrompings the Cowboys have been issuing to the NFL this season.
