Yes, because Romo has a soul and plays with integrity.

Not sure about that, the NFL rakes in over 3 billion a year from Fox, CBS, and NBC to display games. I don't think the NFL would be willing to cut out that type of money.

TX or Texas is a state in the south central United States, home to the greatest football team known to man, the Dallas Cowboys.

No ****, Sherlock... I live there.

The person's post was a bit confusing, I assume they were referencing "Tx" in place of Dallas when assessing the Cowboys chances.

I was pretty sure you know what it meant, I just had a chance to plug the Cowboys.
Not to mention there are actually two football teams in Texas, how bout that, though only one team matters though.

Anyone notice that the Cowboys are now sending 12 players to the Pro Bowl, how bout that. Not to mention we had 2 or 3 snubs that should be going too.

Hawks/Skins was a pretty good game, the Hawks dominated for 45 minutes, Skins dominated for 5 minutes to take the lead, and the Hawks dominated the final 10.

Steelers/Jags was also a great game, I was sensing a blowout but the Steelers brought themselves back into it and were poised to win the game. Garrard's run on 4th and 2 was simply amazing, Congrats Jags and Pantera:)

Seahawks = great defense and mediocre offense.
Redskins made too many dumb mistakes.

Jags pulled it out despite trying to lose it a few times.
Steelers couldn't run against the Jags. Too much pressure on Ben.

I doubt if the Hawks or the Jags can win the next game if they make dumb mistakes like this week. ;)

I really liked the way the Jags played, I think they can definitely bring a good fight to the Pats next week.

Redskins coach Joe Gibbs is going to retire...again...

Head coach Joe Gibbs will retire as Redskins head coach and team president.
Gibbs, who resigns with one year remaining on his contract, will remain part of the Redskins family and serve as a special advisor to owner Daniel M. Snyder.

The announcement came early on Tuesday morning.

The search is underway for Gibbs's successor, who would become the 27th head coach in team history.

The Redskins will hold a press conference on Tuesday at 3 p.m. ET to make the announcement.

Gibbs and Snyder will both be in attendance at the press conference which will be held in the main auditorium of Redskins Park.

With great fanfare, Gibbs returned to coach the Redskins in January 2004 after an 11-year hiatus.

Since then, he compiled a 31-36 record, with two playoff appearances.

Gibbs, 67, has called the 2007 season one of the toughest seasons he has ever endured, given the tragic death of Sean Taylor, the number of severe injuries to starters and the series of close losses.

The Redskins rallied to win their last four games of the regular season and make the postseason as a Wild Card. Last Saturday, they lost to the Seattle Seahawks 35-14 in the first round of the playoffs.

Even though it was a tough way to end the season, Gibbs said he was proud of his team's heart and character in making the playoffs.

After meeting with players on Sunday afternoon, Gibbs went home to spend time with his family. He returned to Redskins Park on Monday afternoon.

In his season-ending press conference on Monday, Gibbs said he would meet with Snyder that evening to discuss his coaching future.

Asked if he felt emotionally drained after such a trying season, Gibbs replied: "I just think it was a hard year for all of us. It was the toughest for me. It may be hard for people to understand, but when you go through a season like that, for a while it's kind of hard to re-grasp reality.

"I think it was good for me to go home and see my grandkids last night."
