I saw the car tested extensively 2 weeks back at Fiorano, both on track and on the roads around maranello. I timed it on an 'in' lap at 1m34, which is similar times to a 575 but remember he was slowing down so not a full flying lap. You can see my pictures on www.pbase.com/bennellidooli

Don't like it at all, it just like a corvette, as the poster indicates.
    But I don't like the 612 or 575 / 550's neither (looks) , but who am I to judge ?

Uh if you can tell what that car is going to look like under all of those camo-panels, your name must be Clark Kent.

My guess is the car will look great, though too big.

    Wait & see.

ive said it many times, im gonna trust Ferrari with this one, there is no way they can make it look REALLY ugly. I like the 612, but i wish it was more aggressive and thats what i think the 600 will do.

    I'm not saying I don't like it.

I just think it looks like a vette....

Interesting, Ferrari looks like a vette and the vette now uses a dry sump and waste gate. So the vette is becoming a Ferrari....

Pretty soon they will be building the same car......lol

Profile reminds me of a GTO. The Ferrari one, not GM.

I've got to say that they don't look much alike, except in profile. In that case, every front engined two-seater looks very similar to that Vette... I don't see where this argument is coming from.

BTW, I like the looks of both the C6 and the spyshot car... it'll be fantastic minus camo.

well personally, i now like the 612, after hating it at first....so i imagine whatever my first impression of the 600 will be, i will eventually come round to it...

i dont think it looks like a vette. i dont really like the c6.

my only regret is that ferrari is no longer making a 12 cylinder mid engine car. i know the 430 just about whips the murci now, but a bad-a$$ mid engine 12 wud b cool.

It looks like a cross between a Vette and a Viper.

All you doubters will eat crow when the car is officially released, it will be beautiful. This car WILL be the new Ferrari to have, and will take back the spotlight from the V8 cars.

i hate the 612. if this looks a lot like it, that would just totally suck. it does look a little like a corvette, but that's okay, i like the corvette. plus, it has four more cylenders and a couple hundred more horsepower, although it may be another $200,000. as long as they stay clear of the over-designed front and under-designed rear of the 612, I think Ferrari may have a gem on its hands.

BTW, when is the official release? when can we see real photos?
