i didn't want to mix my editorial comments before the picture, so here they are.

i think the front end has a nissan 350Z thing going on with those side vents. i'm not keen on it. the center vent is SO damn big - it's huge!

and the rear haunches have a very porsche 911 thing to them.

based on the angle of this shot, the car is rather "bulbous" looking.

it ain't makin' my tootsie roll.

    doody.

I thought the 612 was ganna be the 550/575 replacment. I was so surprised after seeing the cover page. And the name.... 600 Imola.... thats gatta go. The number "600" is to even and just doesnt sound right. 612, 575, 550, 355, 360, 308.... they all have a ring to them and they roll right off your tounge. And "Imola" is just weird. Doesnt sound right. Enzo, Modena, Scagletti, Maranello... you het the point.

I'm not taking the rendering too seriously. The only concern I have is that apparently the new car will be larger than the 575 - for me, the 575 is large enough.

600hp would put a smile on my face.

Time for the official 575 replacement thread?

I am sorry, but no where near as classy in lines as the last car. Looks like very asian...ie 350Z or SC430..

Yes, a 575 replacement thread should begins oon. I think it's great. The 612 was designed to be a grand tourer so the design couldn't be controversial, so it was a little conservative. This car, however, is made with performance in mind and the aggressive look is just what the 612 style needed. I'm lovin it, with or without the hood scoop.

no way it looks like that

F aren't going to make their 2+2 and front engine 2 seater look so similar.

Last time was the 330 (?)

    It's just a rendering. Probably some 3D rendering software w/pshop touch-up.

It looks a little "exagerated." I think that it will look good if this is a sign of the end result.
