    Tom,
Good meeting you as well. My friend with the Cali has too much on his plate tonight and tomorrow 2 join us on the drive 2morrow. However, he's a true enthusiast who love's 2 drive his cars. Rest assured he'll b joining us 4 future drives. I believe he sent you an email in response 2 the note u left 4 him. Next time we hang out in the city and I'm in the building, we should do dinner or something with the wives. Sorry we won't b seeing u 2morrow, but it looks like there will b many opportunities 4 good driving. At least until Winter weather kicks in.

Now that the 24 hour rule is effect... can I verify the departure location? Same as usual? I'd hate to show up late for breakfast and then find out it was on me! See you in the am.

Hi Jeff, yes, same. See you there!

For anyone who is game, we may need to send out an earlier group...maybe by 15 mins. I'll explain in the a.m., but it might be 3-4 cars. I'll be there by 7 for the insomniacs.

Had a great run today. It was good to catch up with everybody. Joe & Bob, as usual, an excellent choice of dining venue. Thanks for putting this together.

What a ride! It certainly pays off to run early, as this morning's relative dearth of bicyclists, LE, and other traffic, showed. Mr. Brooke, Howard's was a fine choice for breakfast. Joseph and I headed back down the coast and it was wide open, as was LVR (so rare these days). A gorgeous drive! Weirdest thing, we decided to revisit the hallowed ground of Nick's boat launch and there we found Kirby!

Great drive, great company, and great food. A perfect 10 cars! Special thanks to Joseph for picking the restaurant. As Albert says we always welcome new comers.

Wes invited us to Infineon Raceway in late October to see him race - not sure what weekend but I will let you all know. He also generously offered that some of us could even be in the Pit! Let me know who is interested.

As you can see below, Jeff and Tuan, are already practicing to be part of the Pit crew! I will tell you Tuan impressed me with his "mechanic skilz" and the quick roadside fix but not sure if 17 min 15 secs is up to par for Wes. Keep on practicing boys! Notice the tremendous help I was taking this photo....

BTW Wes also mentioned to Joe and me that someone could even ride shotgun with him in the future. I saw a sudden twinkle in Joe's eyes and an imaginery light bulb above Joe's head followed by a mischievous wry smile. Anyone else interested??

That was an eventful morning to say the least! I didn't have the pace for once so today was a good day for me to lay back and I'm somewhat glad I did.

Each time we've been out, I have the pleasure of getting sandwiched between some of Maranello's finest and for awhile, following a TR which has to be one of the widest and most menacing looking cars on the road. Wes... I loved the sound of your exhaust!

Tuan, I was happy that you were able to get your car back together so easily. Nothing can be worse than having a failure so far from home or a shop.

Thank you to all and Joseph, excellent choice!

Josh... Driving anywhere around you on any road spells trouble. Thank god we had some traffic on the way back to keep us in check!

Tuan, what happened to your TT?

    Hello all it's me Joseph,

I am so glad that everyone enjoyed the scenery and the food.

And what a great turn out, Wes from Menlo Park gets the hi mileage award...

Don't forget to submit your favorite road/event/activity to Joe.

I am looking forward to finding and enjoying some of your favorite roads in your neck of the woods

I hung out a bit with the urosunday crowd in Danville, today. Some nice cars 2 see and good people to talk 2. however, I always find myself missing "the drive", specifically the marin county runs. It doesn't get any better than that. I always find myself checking this thread for any new updates and look forward 2 future "drives". you guys should try 2 make the Danville D'elegance this next weekend. Always a great event 2 go 2.

    Welcome Joseph!

    RE: Danville,

This is what they say, "The 5th Annual Danville Concours d'Elegance is Sunday September 27th, Noon to 5:00PM. In 2008 we proudly presented over 200 exotic marques, historic vintage race cars and motorcycles displayed along Hartz Avenue and surrounding streets."

Race Car Parade: approximately 11:45 AM

    P51 Mustang Fly-Over: Approximately 12:30 PM

    New - Ducati Demo Rides!

    It's a benefit for the Parkinson's Institute.

(BTW, it appears vehicle registration remains open...)
