What an awesome gathering, drive, and breakfast! Thank you guys for letting a Porsche tag along, as well as the gracious hosts for the coffee and bagels.

I hope to see you guys again soon. Have fun at the party. Happy holidays!

I dubbed this the dirty cars and dead skunks drive - which is better than dead cars and dirty skunks. ;)

The roads and scenery were gorgeous, the food good, but the people are what makes it truly special. The range of talents and personalities drawn by the love of Italian engineering is impressive. Hats off to the fearless leaders who have made it possible.

I can't remember seeing so many skunks or Turkey Vultures (far more ominous!) along that route.

Indeed! I was having visions of installing the protective bars like Mercedes used on the 300 SL racer during the Carrera Panamericana after a buzzard went through the windshield of one of their cars.

thanks to all who participated...exercising the Metal From Modena was a visual treat.

Maybe a bit of road dirt...but our Decembers here allow top down driving so I imagine the car washing is a small price to pay for the smiles, snow free roads and green fields...

This healing thing has been allowing me to ride as passenger and I have been enjoying the company and conversation, varied machinery and the driving tactics.

Any of you who were wondering:

The FerrAudi was quite deftly driven sports fans and I can see that the skill level of FOG in general is rising like the tide around me...soon I shall be in over my head...the Brick from Bertone clearly outclassed.

To have witnessed it: what's 35 years of Automotive advancement of technology...? Like bringing a knife in a gun fight.

thank you for the education jtoquinto....glad to be of marginal assistance while disturbing your normal power to weight ratio, you stirring the gears and modulating throttle input (generally to the fire wall) and steering with precision.

A kind thanks to our hosts this a.m. as well. Well done. I wish you great success.

Butcher/Chrigrel...Moogle...whaaas up wit dat? missed you guys.

Hey guys if you haven't sent Vraiment a RSVP for the Holiday Party please let him know ASAP. We have 70 people confirmed and only a few seats left. This is shaping up to be the most talked about holiday party. Initially we thought we would only be 40 - 45 people.

Logistically it will be difficult to just "crash" the party without letting us know in advance. We really need an accurate head count especially for the restaurant and for our preparation. See you guys on Friday night!

Just make sure that your gun in this knife fight is not locked in the front trunk of the FerrAudi, it might take you weeks to get it out. :) I think the 35-year old GT4 trunk latches are superior.

    + 100!
while I usually prefer most cars in genuine stock form, there is no doubt in my mind that moving to an exhaust "upgrade" is a must in a 355. I have never heard a Stage 3 Capristo in person before. On the next drive I'll be sure to keep my windows down...not just so I can appreciate the sweet music, but also to protect the windows from shattering from the amount of sound wave frequency and volume emitted when you let it roar past 8500 RPM's!
