"Although Ferrari is in the process of making a new supercar (prototype P4/5), it's time for a replacement for the f430. Most probably it's a new f430 "

Dont forget to read the genius comments at the bottom. Dont those idoits know that Pininfarina built p4/5 for the Sultan of Brunei in the late 80's?

The track on the rear is so wide and the back tires look very large. This tells me only two things, either the 430 replacement will have 20's or its testing something different. Those are the only conclusions I can come to. :)

I thought before that the rear track was wider and tires were bigger - nope. Those rear wheels actually look pretty sexy.

Yeah, Ferrari's muleing the hell out of something interesting. Not that the 430 replacement is not interesting. Center exhaust looks pretty mean but way too Muci IMO.

It could mean that the engine will in fact be a twin-turbo V8, instead of a V12.

Could there possibly be another mule out there not photo'd yet with a V12 and Ferrari is testing both engines to see which one they want to go with?

I think he means that he doesnt like the fact that it is a mule for the 430 replacement and not the Enzo, meaning that we are still a long time away from seing the Enzo replacement.

I would like to see a V10 inspired from the old F1 Ferraris in the new supercar.

Just like the V12 engine in the F50 inspired from Alain Prost’s 1990 Ferrari 641/2 F1.

Wasn't it more inspired by the 1989 car then the 1990 car since the 89 car still had valve springs?

If Ferrari presented the Millechili concept with any serious intentions of delivering on a note they made about environmental standards and emmisions, a V12 would have taken the "inovation" side of Ferrari's engine programs nowhere. What I can expect to se from Ferrari is a NEW idea. Lets face it, the V8 F40 is still sticking it to many modern supercars on the track. Remember how it took on the F1s at LeMans? A good example of V12 vs V8.

Koenigsegg is the best current example. Lotus knows lighter equals faster, as do Ferrari. The difference is that Lotus could have put a V8 in the Evora but it's just not like that. Ferrari CAN put a V12 into the new car but I think theyre looking for a tighter package. A twin turbo V8 (not unfirmiliar territory) would give huge performance with lighter weight.

The idea that Ferrari are seriously developing something new gives a good explanation of why its taken six yeas for anything reasonably questionable to surface and get people talking.

It seems to me that the rear wheel is quite larger than on a normal 430. Maybe the fronts are larger too considering the cut outs in the front fenders.

This looks like the same kind of thing that happened with the California mule. It had 599 body panels, but the measurements were all wrong.
