i will say this til i am blue in the face, that is the second most sexiest thing god put breath into, even without the stripe or badge, its the sort of thing carnal knowledge exists, cos if i was a chick i would want to have its baby. (errr the car that is)

 

I hope that you specified Lambo paint!! The job is certainly shiny. Hope that the chipped F1 plates are chap to fix as well. Personally I would have spent the money on the next weekend to the Alice. It will only need another paint job when it goes home. That is unless you drive so fast that nobody can overtake you.

Don't forget the 3m film before driving it in real world conditions again.

peter it's just a sticker and from 6 feet you can't tell. i'd wished the car had had the original sticker ex factory but a sticker applied now to me is better than no sticker at all

What would have to be done to prefectly replicate the factory sticker?

oh wait...is the whole thing a sticker and not orig, or is it going to look different to the rest of the stripe?

the whole thing is a sticker and to replicate would probably cost more than the 15k ex factory. i'd like to have it as ex factory but not sure if there is anyone in aus that would have a crack at it nor that i would trust to get it right. sometimes going for the perfect finish is too risky so a sticker is the next best thing

to me it's like the carbon mirrors,CC brakes,lexan window,suede trim,carbon door inserts,paddles,different exhaust note etc. it was just meant to be

 

no..i'm confused. what's the original? it's not paint, is it?

 

what i've found out on this site is that it is a sticker and then the boys at maranello put a clear coat on top of the whole cars surface and you think it is part of the paint job . how the clear coat is applied i don't know but i assume after market polish such as swissol doesn't affect the clear coat. does polish applied on top of clear coat look different to polish on virgin paint? i don't know

thats lots of swiping down the crack!!!!!!!! but at least u can drive the CS in aust, the FXX or enzo or whatever it is today is like a museum piece with our antiquated road rules

 

werk harder to get the adelaide CS out. for some reason the Stradale just has a lot more presence than a 360, and it looks a real mean biatch closing down on you.

one of my favourite parts of the NT was the very final moments when scud's bros just couldn't bear the fact the car was going back on the truck, so he took it for foot-to-the-firewall laps up and down the drag in front of the hotel, man that rocked, you could see people all up and down the street going WTF!!??!! wish i had the vidcam for it.

Did you guys (Ash and mhh) get the footage taken by either Chris or Cam? They would have some good stuff taken from the cars with the chopper hovering above, could be used in the DVD?

Another thing, have you thought about asking MOTOR to 'advertise' the DVD in their magazine when its ready?

 

I haven't seen any of Chris or Cam's work. Are they doing a DVD burn for all like I did?

I don't know that the DVD (even when edited) will have commercial value. You reckon it might?

 

Maybe next year, we find a film crew (volunteers who want a be around the cars) with professional video experience and gear to help. Then we really could make saleable item.

 

I'm not sure about those guys, but I will send Cam an email to ask.

I thought the plan was to sell the DVD, at least from what Ash was telling me....

as long as my role of 'snapper' isn't made redundant its fine.

i'm sorry, i honestly have been werking my tits off. i haven't had a single day off since i got back, have averaged about 14 hours per day since alice, but i have everything necessary to get things going, except the time, which i hope to create in teh next couple weeks.
