I always think that TDF needs a lot of direct sunlight to bring it out, otherwise it can appear to be a rather dull blue.

People asked why I wrapped my TdF car and one reason was exactly this - in direct desert sunlight there is a beautiful indigo hue to TdF, but 95% of the time IRL it looks dark, sedate and not exciting to me. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This purple looks incredible, name? Very unique look, what are your thoughts? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Its hard to know from pics but my guess is Viola Hong Kong. Color is a really personal thing. Once you go away from red or maybe black, people will ask why in the world you would order a Ferrari in ______ (fill in the blank). As I see it, Ferrari offers the colors for a reason, if they didn’t approve, they wouldn’t offer it. I think the purple looks great, but its not a color I would be comfortable owning. If the color speaks to you, I think you should go for it, I’ve noticed it gaining in popularity, if that makes any difference. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
All things equal I imagine rare color commands more of a premium used? To be honest I never see any Ferraris for sale in these rare colors
Does it matter if its your dream car? If you order the car with resale as the priority then are you not ordering it for the next person? Just a rhetorical / philosophical question. (I do think you have to consider resale, so many times I’ve said I’ll never sell, and often, the day does arrive, so its smart to consider resale- how much of a priority is your call). So with that said, from a resale stand point, I don’t think it matters very much. If it were the usual Rosso Corsa/ tan or black, then you would have a wider audience for resale. It will probably sell quickly. If you go with a more personalized color, then you have a smaller potential audience, but those who love it will really love it. Some people dont care much about color, but some get into it. Unless you were doing something truly crazy, I think you can order what you like and you should really enjoy it. So is this 296 GTB in Verde Minerale also a TM project? The corresponding SF90 is and also doesn’t have a TM badge outside the car.
I don’t think so. I don’t see any non-automotive fabrics/materials. Special paint is not limited to Tailor Made cars. Verde Minerale is also one of the colors in Ferrari’s new ‘Color Box’ which are available on all new models. Not every Tailor Made car has the TM badge between the seats, the TM kickplate or the external badge. They are all three options.
