What is the leather, beige peccary ?
Lagunae92 love the silver stripe on your car, the whole car looks amazing. It reminded me to get the cars out to warm them up and get the oil round the engine as its a nice day for a change. The roads are still wet and salty so it’s just in the drive way. It’s so hard to get the depth of colour in Magma with my camera, but there is lots of contrasts in the last one. This popped up on IG > Image Unavailable, Please Login Some interesting history about the Verde Minerale name to... 812gts 1 of 3 Tailor Made Ispirazioni Ferrari 812 GTS that is inspired by Verde Minerale. As suggested by the name, the 812 GTS is painted in Verde Minerale, a fairly new colour that changes drastically in tone depending on the light. This can be seen in the last two pictures. One interesting fact about this colour is that it was first seen on a 488 Pista Spider but had a different name. On this 488 Pista Spider the colour was called Verde Militare. However, in 2020 the colour name was changed when the ‘Ispirazioni Project’ 2020 was launched. Although different in name, both colours still share the same Ferrari paint code. The interior consists of Charcoal Ultrasuede with CLDT inserts and the carpet area in special Apollo Fabric Sam 4023/IA4. For the stitching on the steering wheel, the sides of the seats, and the Cavallino on the headrests Verde 8973 thread is used. Other special options on this GTS include the Canna di Fucile Opaco painted ‘TdF Style’ wheels, the Canna di Fucile Opaco painted airvents, and Opaco finished carbon fibre in the interior.
Thank you! Verde Pino over Iroko with all interior and exterior matte CF. The Iroko is darker in person. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
It's stunning. I have mine specced in Verde Abetone with yellow calipers black wheels and painted shields, but you're making me rethink it. Are your wheels gloss or matte black?
DO IT!!! Looks even better in person, as all of these paints do. Haven't seen Abetone in person, but that spec still sounds great either way. Wheels are gloss black and they give a nice contrast with the matte CF.
I didn't do matte CF, actually I didn't do exterior CF at all, and hat's actually the reason I did matte black wheels in order to match the matte finish of the plastic. I'm thinking if I do gloss wheels then I'd ask the dealership to paint the plastic trim gloss black. But now that I see gloss wheels against a matte finish it actually works a lot better than I envisioned. It's an amazing spec you have, and it's also been very helpful for me to make some final decisions before my turn hopefully gets picked up on next month's allocation call. I appreciate it.
Pino looks good on the 812. Also consider Verde Scuro. This one is pretty over the top. https://www.romansinternational.com/used-vehicle-details/Ferrari-812-U951/
Im getting ready to possibly spec my gts in Verde Zeltwig. Im starting to get cold feet and also have grigio silverstone lined up. Ive never seen any of the greens on a car in person. How would you say Pino or Scuro would line up against Zeltwig?
Thank you for the kind words. A lot of thought went into that spec and might have gone a bit overboard, but def worth it. In terms of gloss wheels with matte finish, I also had a Bianco Fuji (also amazing color on the 812 body) Superfast with black gloss wheels/original matte plastic and it looked great. Would definitely go that way, just my opinion. Looking forward to seeing what you build!
They're all so similar to each other and pics are so inconsistent with filters and ambient lighting that sometimes darker colors look lighter than lighter ones and vice versa. Verde Scuro, Pino, Abetone,, BRG, are tough to distinguish without seeing them in person. renderings don't help, you can't tell the difference between BRG and Abetone. This is where I'm at with my Abetone spec ... for now no exterior CF, painted shield, matte black wheels and a few other bits. It took me ages to settle on this spec, toiling on if it's the worst idea in the world to do black interior when almost everyone is doing some version of brown against green paint. Speccing my first Ferrari from scratch has been amazingly fun, but also exhausting and stressful because I'm super nervous that I have missed something and that it won't turn out in real life the way I see it in my head. That's actually why @TuttoVerde was super helpful posting his car. I just saw the gloss black wheels and thought maybe I should change to that ... I don't have it in me to change colors again with the order about to get fulfilled. I saw a Verde Scuro car, very similar spec to yours except the daytona stripes were black and the center stripe was green. I thought it looked great. Very clean. I have not seen Abetone in person. But isn't it a flat paint (no metal flake)? If it were me I'd want a little sparkle (of course, I went with the most sparkly paint possible, so that's just me). If you're thinking about what you might have missed, maybe leather roof/ceiling. It really finishes the interior leather.
Pino is the lightest of the three. Then Scuro. Then Zeltwig. Zeltwig is very dark. If you want it to look more green than black in the shade/dark, then go with Scuro (or Pino). https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/verde-scuro-and-verde-zeltweg.653867/
